Hi all!

Hi there, my clinic recommended I take it x
Hi RecipIVF. People do self prescribe low dose soluble aspirin, but I would always prefer you to discuss it with your specialist first. Good luck! Diane
I spoke to my clinic about it and they prescribed it as I’d had two early pregnancy losses. However, I still had a chemical pregnancy after my third transfer even when taking the low dose aspirin. For my fourth transfer, I was prescribed aspirin but didn’t take it as it was confirmed that I have no blood clotting problem so I no longer saw the need. That transfer worked and I’m nearly 14 weeks now. ☺️ Definitely talk to your Dr - my understanding is that aspirin is helpful for those with blood clotting problems, so maybe you could get a blood test to investigate this? Good luck and take care xxx
Thanks - my clinic isn’t interested in doing any blood tests 😒 so might just wing it and hope for the best. Massive congrats on getting to 14 weeks!! Hope you’re keeping well! X
I actually went outside my clinic for the blood test (thrombophilia screen) as it was cheaper. I used Nuffield Health which was £275 instead of the £650 my clinic were charging! As you say though, probably best to just give the Aspirin a go - don’t think it can do any harm. Thank you for your well wishes. Wishing you the very best of luck! xxx
Hey I asked my clinic and they said they wouldn't advise me not to take it and it was my personal choice. I am taking it 👍
Doctor didn’t put it in my protocol, but my nurse who’s amazing said she recommends it so I’m taking it - I did last time too and that was a successful cycle so trying the same again x
