A fairly substantial bleed and warfarin: my experience
2 days ago I tripped over something, or my own feet, at home. I wasn't knocked out, but saw some blood on my fingers. My Godson who lives at my house came running and asked where all the blood had come from, and there was a lot. Oddly my trousers were not torn but I had a major laceration to my leg

UK supplier of saline
Hi everyone I just stumbled across a UK supplier of saline for injections, save ordering from Germany. They have needles and other equipment as needed also. See link: http://www.exchangesupplies.org/shoplist_all_safer_injecting_products.php

How much sterile saline do I add to Methycobalamin powder?
Hi, I have ordered some dried Methycobalamin (from Oxford Biosciences) and sterile saline. There is 20mg of Methycobalamin in the bottle. Does anyone else purchase this dried form? and if so how much sterile saline do you add to it? What dosage do you inject? I have previously used Hydroxycobalamin

Sterile Saline
Hello Everyone, I have bought some Methycobalamin powder from Oxford Biosciences today. Where do people get their Sterile Saline from? I know there is a link on the Oxford Biosciences website for a German pharmacy that sells it but I couldn't make head nor tail of it because it's in German. God

Coughing up mucus!! (Sorry!!)
Soooo, Maddie is now 6 and has finally learnt how to cough up!! Hurrah!! We have struggled for years to try and clear her chest, using saline nebs and physio predominantly. She has now realised how to cough up. She's really struggling at school though as she says she can't do it there and quite often

Morning wonderful friends. Blown away by the love and support from you all. Thank you everyone who’s posted or messaged and special thanks to Ruby who started it off. You have really lifted my mood. Small progress on sick front though I can now walk about 12 tottering baby paces and don’t need help

courage
When the going is rough, deal with one thing at a time, fever Paracetamol; at night, blocked nose, Vicks First defence, or a bit of bicarbonate of soda in water and rinse nose; you can use saline ( quarter tea spoon of salt in water, but can make you bleed); cough with a syrup until morning. reflux,

Just got my CT scan result
I have been diagnosed with 'mild bronchietasis' - I would hate to think what moderate or severe is like given my symptoms. Excessive sticky mucus which is so difficult to shift without doing huffing, postural drainage, physio (hubby does this thankfully) and take my meds. I have recently started with

Poorly Girl!
Hi everyone! Let me start my saying that I feel bad for not being on here before now, but in truth, up until Monday I was doing ok and my RA was finally under control. Not that it is an excuse, because I could have supported many people on here who are maybe not having such a good time! I know now how

First infusion of rituximab
It took from 9.30 to 4.00 as scheduled. Had an injection of piriton, then some steroid then some saline. Then they put this large bag of the rituximab magic potion on the drip. By then I was feeling a bit woozy because of the piriton but felt more alert after various trips to the loo - still all hooked
