Good day everyone,

I had done a post on stuffy noses before. I just wanted to say I have been using saline solution and its helping. Plus you can use it as often as you want. It is freezing here in new jersey today! Hope its better where all you good people are.

What are you doing with the saline please Ruby? Only I can think of more than one way of using it. No! Don't be rude. I meant nasally, nebuliser, and what temperature is the solution when you use it please?

Hey Rib,

Hope your well. I buy the saline solution already mixed in a little bottle just for your nose. It works really well. Plus, it keeps the germs from getting in your nose. I always gargle with some salt water after I use inhaler also. Keeps the germs out of your throat Haven't you heard of a netti pot? Don't be putting it in the wrong spot there Mr. Rib! Your a funny bunny or should I say squirrel!

Yes we have Neti pots here too for nasal irrigation. Designed to only allow the fluid to flow one way.

Total agree with your rinsing after using inhalers. A lot of them state this in the user instructions.

I use those Neilmed nasal rinses a couple times a day. They work and really help my sinuses. It's hard to breathe when your nose is stopped up, and I panic if I don't think I'm getting enough oxygen. I would suggest them to anyone who has sinus problems and COPD. They seem to cut down on infections.

I agree Watercolors,

It actually helps more than anything else I've tried. A stuffy nose definitely makes you feel like you can't breathe right. I have a terrible time in the car with the heater on.

I find using the floor vent and the saline helps alot.

take care

Hope you are feeling much better today Ruby xxx

I use Sterimar Nasal Spray once a day and it works well to reduce my stuffed up nose.
