2 months until I start IUI
So I was at the fertility clinic today and the nurse told me that they aim to do my first IUI in October. My fear is, today they tried to do a blood test for CMV and couldn’t get any blood from me, tried twice before I fainted. I’m hoping this isn’t a regular thing but two weeks ago I fainted during

Hi was wondering if anyone knows. If you have had iui done at the same hospital as you are going to have ivf next .Do you need proof of 2x MMR and bloods done all over again for starting ivf nhs or dose all the information just get transferred over from when we did iui on the nhs .As it’s the same hospital

2nd IUI failed
So I’m coming into my 3rd IUI try now and just feel crap. The clinic don’t seem to change the procedure in any way even though it clearly doesn’t work. I doubt the 3rd go will be any different so it’s likely I will be moving to IVF which really scares me

Should I test Early? IUI
I had my second try of IUI on 29/07/2020 so my official test day is 12/08/2020 but this round has felt completely different to the last which I don't know if that's a good thing or bad thing. Last time I had constant cramps from trigger day all the way through until period came, last time I had aching

Two failed rounds of iui and so far one failed IVF (next embryo transfer is on Monday) but I never know how my body will be feeling so I just can't plan anything...and I

IUI or IVF with donor sperm? Advice needed please
Hi all. I’m looking for some advice please. My husband and I are having to use donor sperm but we can’t decide between IUI or a round of IVF. We’ve been through 3 rounds of ICSI using my husbands sperm but we never get past day 3 so we’ve decided to try a donor this time. We have no experience with IUI

Struggling
Hi Everyone, I thought I would come on here because it's hard to find anyone who understands how I feel. I am currently in my 2 week wait after my first try of IUI which happened on 3rd July. My test day is Friday 17th July and my emotions are getting more and more negative as the day draws closer.

I'm new! Help with my results...
Hello! I've just had the results of a Medichecks blood test and I'm a bit concerned about my rapidly increasing TSH. A bit of background – I was diagnosed with hashimotos/underactive thyroid and PCOS when I was 17 (I'm now 29). I've been taking thyroxine ever since and my dose has risen over the years

First round of IUI - one follicle
Hi all, I’m currently undergoing my first round of IUI, assisted. We have unexplained infertility. I had my day 7 scan and it showed 3 follicles growing (11mm, 11mm and 12mm). Just had my last scan (day 10) and unfortunately only one has continued to grow, at 18mm. The nurse said all looked really

Update: IUI
Thought I would offer an update. I mentioned previously that I was on 75ui of menopur and then my appointment for my 11 day scan was on Thursday. Well, they discovered 1 cyst but 3 17mm follicles which almost would have meant I was over stimulated but I agreed for the procedure to go ahead anyway.

Menopur Dose: IUI
Hello I had my day 5 scan yesterday, my right ovary has produced some healthy looking follicles but not many and nothing on my left ovary. They have put me on 75iu menopur every 2 days, for day 5, 7 and 9. Then my next scan is on day 11. 75iu sounds like a pointless amount? so I am wondering if there

IUI newbie
Newbie Here! I'm sorry if this is extra long. Go easy on me, I don't quite know the lingo yet. I will try to keep my story short and I'm really excited to get some advice from you lovely people. After roughly 9 years of infertility and medical conditions including PCOS I was finally approved for IUI
