PVCs and any activity
Hello, could anyone tell me if they experience PVCs with any form of light activity? I seem to get them at rest, singles, couplets, and any form of light activity seems to make them 100 times worse. Even walking into the garden, hanging out washing, walking up stairs, putting the bin out is enough

Spider veins on face
Does anyone know how to help broken capillaries (spider veins) on the face? I’ve seen light therapy pens for at home treatment but I don’t want to buy something if it won’t work.

PVC, very scared
Hello for the last 2 weeks I have been having episodes that I can best describe as feeling like someone just scared me to death, my heart pumps really hard and it feels like the air is being pushed from my lungs. I finally went to hospital today and they said I had a PVC and to follow up with a cardiologist

Advice re. my mum’s BP (NSTEMI last year)
Apologies in advance for the long post, but I feel like I’m losing my mind here, and the detail is relevant. We have an extensive, highly varied cardiac history, particularly on my mum’s side. She had obvious cardiac symptoms for years, even had a dodgy ecg when participating in a medical research project

Help. Is it safe to run and swim on Sotalol Hydrochloride. What is safer Bisoprolo or Sotalol
My son was diagnosed with

cardiomyopathy
in March 2019. He is on the autistic spectrum and loved his running, swimming and cycling prior to being diagnosed. He was fitted with an ICD in April 2019 and originally put on 1.25mg of bisoprolol fumarate.

Heart problems
I’m still convinced I have a heart problem.. I went to the doctor and got a couple of test and I don’t know the names of it so I’m going to try to explain it. One test I had stickers all over me and the seconds test I had a monitor for about a week. She said my heart was normal but she thinks I have

28 years old. Random chest tightness without pain the last couple weeks.
Hey Everyone Just want to start by saying that I've only had one run in with AF back in February but my cardiologist has not officially diagnosed me with AF since he thinks this MAY have been a one and done incident due to an adverse reaction to antihistamines... but only time will tell. Back in February

Palpitations When Exercising
Hi all, I can empathise with most of the posts on here and my experience seems similar to yours in some ways, Lucy, although mines is quite unique. I’ll try to summarise but I’ll probably ramble as I’m pretty good at that 😉 So basically I’ve always been pretty fit and healthy: I’m 37, BMI 23, average

I'm only 39 and have just been diagnosed with AF.
I'm 39 and have been diagnosed as having AF. I've had it for 2.5 years, but it's only just been diagnosed- kept being told there was nothing wrong as it was hard to 'catch' on an ECG. It has got worse over the last 18 months and I was experiencing it constantly, it was very obvious on an ECG, so I went

Lexapro or Prozac - what works better for arrhythmia?
I was wondering if anyone here had an experience with either Lexapro or Prozac working for their arrhythmia? I was on Lexapro for quite a few years, but didn't have the irregular heartbeats at that time. Then I decided to stop the Lexapro as I was gaining too much weight. After 2 months from stopping

Afib or flutter?
What is the difference between Afib and flutter? I’ve been having bouts of quivering in my chest - side of rib cage really - and it’s really worrying me, particularly as I also have PVCs and a history of RVOT tachycardia. I’ve had a recurrence of tachycardia over the past month - heartbeat of around

Fears over fluttering in chest
I’ve had bouts of tachycardia and PVCs for 7 years, usually controlled by Flecainide and Verapamil. The tachycardia’s started again lately - 6 bouts over the past 6 weeks, heart rate about 100bpm, lasting 2 hours usually. Also now I have a fluttering/quivering sensation in my chest, and a different feeling

New found issues with PACs
Has anyone ever had extreme pacs out of the blue? I have an implantable loop recorder so I was able to catch a lot of what was doing on. They told me they saw frequent PACS and there were a few episodes that were so long my EPs office thought for a moment I had afib- two episodes that lasted for SIX

Alternative therapies: what I've learned
I've been on the PMR journey since 2014, and the pred episode since 2015. In that time I've also had an osteoporosis scare. Those interested in what I did about that can read https://healthunlocked.com/pmrgcauk/posts/137578304/my-osteoporosis-journey - a bit dated now, but successful anyway.... When

Raised heart rate and regular ectopics
I was diagnosed with RVOT in 2013 and have had PVCs for years. Over the past few weeks I’vd had regular bouts of increased heart rate - between 80s and mid 90s - for up to 2 hours at a time, (that’s high for me) with thumping ectopics. This is scary. I take Flecainide and Verapamil and can’t help thinking
