Warning, this post contains links. Mods, if this is not allowed, please don't ban me, just delete this post. I always thought the problem was the varicose veins in my legs. I was 36 at the time. I'll get them stripped sooner or later, I thought. Legs got heavier and heavier, I started to fall over

Does anyone have information or experience with modafinil (provigil)?
The one symptom that has impacted my life more than any other symptom is fatigue. I have been reading about modafinil. It's main use is for people with narcolepsy, air force pilots, people on shift work (need to be awake in the middle of the night), and business travelers who are making a time change

No response to high dose thyroxine - why?
Hello. I'm new on here, and hoping that someone has any idea about my lack of response to T4, based on their own experience, or physiological knowledge. I have many symptoms of an underactive thryroid but generally my blood tests come back in the normal range, and I have had a confirmation of Hashimotos

I have just joined the site, and this is an odd opening question maybe, but I'll explain...... I am 40 yrs old, and have severe RLS from the neck down, 24/7. I have been taking pramipexole for years, and it usually keeps things bearable, but not always. I have a few other problems, which I know are

In fact, I take a sleep-aid at bedtime. Also, I'm a slender person. Believed this mainly affected persons who

Does anyone know if the drug Modafinil is used in the UK and/ or Ireland to treat PBC related fatigue? Has anyone here had this drug prescribed and if you have, what effect (good or bad) did it have on fatigue? Thank you
