Maybe why we wait for a cure
It was agreed that the use of alcohol , tobacco, cannabis and
antihistamines
would not be prescribed because the potential for damage caused by these substances outweighed the usefulness.

Then 3 weeks ago I had ct with contrast and had steroids and
antihistamines
as cover pre (I had anaphylaxis to contrast when I was 14). Anyway the day after the scan I was covered in red glow and my face was swollen. Also a slight wheeze. This took a week to fade.

PD Effect on Sleep
And keep in mind that over-the-counter pills like decongestants and
antihistamines
may cause sleep problems as well. Food is another common—and often overlooked—culprit. Stimulants make falling and staying asleep more difficult. Avoid the caffeine rush from consuming tea, coffee, and chocolate.

Swollen and painful back of throat
Hi, I've been on levothyroxine various doses for over 20yrs. Recently I've noticed significant hair loss, sore throat and my blood pressure has gone up. I've had two blood tests, but GP says they are normal. Recent test is TSH 2.37, and free T4 14.5. I'm on 100mcg a day. I am very concerned with

Trying to get help can feel so discouraging
Or will only prescribe me
antihistamines
, ssri's. I just feel like I've been trying and failing, and it makes the future seem so hopeless. Sorry to be all depressing, my situation has just been feeling so dark. I'm throwing up before work, I can barely talk to my family on the phone.

Fexofenadine Side Effects
I had to leave it until last night to take the Fexofenadine so as to minimise mixing the two
antihistamines
. I also take Fostair inhaler and Dymista nasal spray, and my asthma seems well controlled on this. Thanks!

My First Shopping Trip
Antihistamines
seem to be keeping my hay fever at bay (never had it before now!!) The last puzzle is to get my legs working, muscles are still quite weak, despite exercise.

Itching/hives with Lupus?
I've tried H1
antihistamines
(allergies/zyrtec) and upping the dosage but it doesn't seem to help enough! The itching is all over and the hives can last for minutes and some larger ones last for up to a week! (which I have heard is a sign it's an autoimmune hive??)

Anyone had patch testing for allergies?
So Monday I went for patch testing!.. Had 82 allergens put on my back for 2 days! Gotta say I didn’t notice much! Possibly some itching and burning, but nothing all to bad!.. Well today they pulled the patches off and I exploded in to one big red/rash/hives back! Now I’m pretty sure I have ‘sensitive

Two types of drugs you may want to avoid for the sake of your brain: Anticholinergic drugs and Benzodiazepines
The strongest anticholinergic drugs include some
antihistamines
, tricyclic antidepressants, medications to control overactive bladder, and sleeping pills. Benzodiazepines boost another neurotransmitter's effectiveness.
