Low B12 levels, not sure why.
I had some standard blood test done about 8 months ago with my GP. Not looking for anything in particular, just part of a medical checkup. My B12 came out at 102 ng/L. I'm a 28 year old healthy female if that makes any difference! Doctor didn't seem too concerned as everything else was fine and I was

Hi there, just popping over from thyroid UK for some advice and your thoughts please. I was diagnosed Hypothyroid by my GP in May 2016. I am currently on 75mcg Levothyroxine. Apart from a swollen tongue on which I have candida, and constipation that I take magnesium for, I consider myself very fortunate

Hi everyone. I'm new here. My story is kind of long, but will try to be as brief as possible. About 5 years ago, I had pain in my right foot. Long story short, I ended with bone tumors, several surgeries and finally ended with a below the knee amputation 9 months ago. During all this, I started losing

Update on 12 week post ozurdex implant.
Hi all, well yet again I'm bucking the odds. After a good result at wk 8 Oedema is now back, IOP is reduced though (after 2wks no timolol drops). Yes, it's expected to be the other way round! Surprisingly I was given the option to go back to inj or another implant. Wasn't expecting a choice and had to

Approach to low B12
Results suggest normal intrinsic factor but B12 levels have been falling to below normal over a period of 4 years. My symptoms have been extreme exhaustion, muscle fatigue and involuntary contractions and twitches in legs. I also have tinnitus and occasionally very sharp darting pains in legs not associated

B12 serum levels and IFA test?
Hi , I’ve just had some blood taken and they are going to check for Intrinsic Factor. I had been supplementing daily with 5000 ug Methylcobalamin but stopped two weeks prior to test. I may have got this wrong, but I thought the GP said that if the lab saw “normal” levels of B12 in my blood (I.e. anything
