I really think it would help my back, I'm on really strong pain killers and gp aren't suggesting/willing to do anything else, in fact they want to take me off the pain killers which I understand but it's just too much to bare.
I'm under pain clinic but again nothing much other then pain management course which I'm still waiting for 14 months later... 😔
I had the go privately for Acupuncture. I went every 2 weeks for 6 months. I felt so much better, so I am going to have some more sessions, it is expensive and as a Pensioner I have had to watch my pennies,!!!
The other treatment that has helped is Biomagnetic, I now have the magnets and do the treatment for myself, however I will go back to the Professional and have some more sessions.
I am very stressed at the moment, therefore the pain has returned with a vengeance. May have to ask GP to up the Mg of Duloxetine as certain painkillers gave me an Asthma attack and had to be taken to hospital by ambulance.
I do try and pace myself, I had ME at 40years and managed to pace myself, after 5 years it went, then when retired I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, which is far more painful, I do try to pace myself, I suffer some days if I have overworked the previous day, just a trip to the Supermarket can exhaust me and the pain is horrendous.
Luckily I very seldom get headaches, however my hands, feet, neck , legs and arms are the most painful areas. I think everyone with Fibromyalgia have different painful episodes and I just worry that I blame any pain on Fibro, and it could be something more serious.
