Anyone tried Turmeric?
Hi, first time post, call me Moo if you like. I’m peri menopausal and suffering severe effects of low Oestrogen (anxiety, depression, insomnia) thankfully my HRT is now starting to help raise my levels and I should be feeling better.... except that now I’ve had constant T for 4 weeks! Googled like mad

Low dose lithium?
Does anyone have experience taking low-dose lithium in addition to their antidepressant? I still have really up-and-down days so my psychiatrist prescribed low-dose lithium 150 mg to go along with my Cymbalta. Wondering if anyone out there has had a good result from taking lithium

Vision fog
Countless times over tried to explain it but it’s basically a 24/7 vision fog. I feel no change since stopping my antidepressant 2 weeks ago. Still in the vision fog. Hard to explain it really is. So far everyone I’ve talked to about this says “yeah when I’m really anxious my vision gets weird or when

I hate my doctor
Iv tried all different kind of medication from
antidepressants
to beta blockers. None of which worked. I was eventually put on diazepam and with that and a lot of talking therapy i managed to get myself to a point where i can comfortabley leave the house and started working part-time.

Feeling exhausted all the time - advice please!
I really don't want to go on
antidepressants
or sleep tablets. Can I suggest dropping to part time for say 1 day a week or does that seem too extreme? Has anyone had to do that? I feel like I'm just a weakling :(

Any advice on antidepressants ? Thank you
I am wondering if anyone takes
antidepressants
and how this has impacted on them ? I have been prescribed citalpram because of my feelings and panic attacks but side effects look significant for some people.

Hi, I'm new to this community
Hi there, I'm happy to find this community because I get so many strange symptoms sometimes I just need someone to talk to. My doctors have not definitely diagnosed Fibromyalgia but they let me talk to them about by name and don't make any comment. I know what I have despite the silence from my GPs

So sick of it all
I’m reluctantly on
antidepressants
but they have taken away my anger but I’m now a zombie. I’m paranoid, reclusive, I sit and stare for hours. I can’t do this. I cry all the time nearly every day. My friends have began to drop off and I don’t blame them. What can I do?

I'm on a high dose of
antidepressants
and have just been referred for ECT. Just wondered if anyone had a similar story.

Terrible experience with London Psychiatrist
He then offered me some
antidepressants
, which I refused because he had no idea what he was saying . He’s very old and should of retired 20 years ago ! I got up and left after 20 minutes.

Musings on Migraine
Hi All , I have been reading through posts with interest as a regular sufferer of migraine or years .I use Maxalt for attacks with good result but probably take too many . Have tried all sorts of preventatives , the only one that worked miraculously well was Pregabalin (Lyrica ) which is an anti epileptic

I’m new to this site. I have depression, anxiety and insomnia. I tried TMS therapy earlier this year but was resistant to it. I feel that the antidepressant has made me feel worse rather than better. It seemed to work for a bit and then quit. My anxiety is worse and taking anti anxiety meds only caused

Constipation and antidepressants
I’m in a bad place mentally at the moment for lots of external reasons, but the
antidepressants
just make my constipation worse which I can’t risk as the consultants have have exhausted the list of medications for me to treat it, and told me a stoma is my next option.

Nervous in quiet spaces
I am not on
antidepressants
first and foremost, or any medication for my mental health. I have not considered taking any after experiencing constant panic attacks and being unable to contact my doctor during this time.

Fibromyalgia Arthritis
I started to go to the doctors after years of tablets (
antidepressants
) I was actually beginning to believe this has to be all in my mind. Because no
antidepressants
where working for me ever. Also I had nothing to be depressed about apart from pain. Years & years of this!
