Prepping for a frozen cycle
Hello all Could I please ask whether anyone has used the Optibac probiotics for a fresh cycle or a frozen cycle? I hadn’t heard of them until recently. If so which ones did you choose or which did your clinic suggest to use? I’m guessing intimate flora for women which suggest they reach the womb. The

Chamomile for Anxiety
Over the years I have often enjoyed a cup of relaxing chamomile tea. I have been having a lot of issues with side effects from meds, so am currently trying numerous other approaches - all after conducting a lot of research (I do that for a living). I've been trying chamomile at night for my anxiety,

10dp5dt BFN what more can I do?
hi there so we decided to test this morning with FRER and it’s the all too familiar stark one single line. Not even a glimmer of a second line. I think I’m out. This was our last embryo and was a 5AB. I did an endometrial scratch, I was down regulated on buserelin, my progesterone levels were good and

Hi everyone hope you are all good I saw pharmacist today at St Thomas’ instead of my usual APS consultant not sure why. APS or sticky blood syndrome
having suffered from PA for 20-30 years was sort of resigned to my fate of suffering from painful arms /hands and general lack of energy , anyway I then develop a Deep Vein Thrombosis in my calf muscle which I am advised could be caused by APS - also an auto immune response - was give Apixaban for

What’s an acceptable rate?
so I’m back in afib, doctor sent me home with 2.5mg of bisoprolol and also blood thinners. At moment my heart rate when not doing a lot (sitting down watching tv) is around 90-100bpm. Sometimes In the 70s and 80s and even lower 60s and possible 50s when asleep! So basically I’d say my base rate is

Omega supplements blood thinners
Hi folks, Been having some eye issues recently requiring drops and my optician suggested taking omega supplements aswell. Read that you possibly shouldn’t take them if you’re on blood thinners? Anyone know if that’s the case? Much appreciated.

Disappearing AF.
A couple of years ago my pacemaker picked up episodes of AF . At the time I was already taking 10 mg of rivaroxiban as a maintenance dose due to blood clots in my leg. The anticoagulant doctor was looking at me stopping the rivaroxiban at this time . But due to the AF the cardiologist obviously said

Wondering about my doctor
I had a phone call with my doctor today, during which she referred to Edoxaban as a 'blood thinner'. Now I'm seriously worried about her abilities... Is this a natural mistake for a doctor, is she just trying to dumb things down for me? She used the phrase a couple of times. I'm not quite sure what

Coagulation for Afib
I was diagnosed with P. Afib two years ago and have avoided taking blood thinners. After recently having an EP study and cardioversion the cardiologist wants to put me on Redoxaban as I refused to take Eliquis. I have a pathological fear of taking blood thinners. At the sign of blood I would have to

It all started with a purple toe!
I've had high cholesterol for more than twenty years and although I've been prescribed statins, have never continued taking them until recently when I developed a purple toe. The doctor was concerned it was an embolism and I was sent for several tests and to see a consultant. It appears from an ECG

Thrombus at a young age - potential ASD or PFO
Hello all, Had a heart attack in my 30s this year but my arteries weren’t blocked. MRI found a thrombus in the left ventricle and evidence of apical MI. Only had mild heart disease and some evidence of pericarditis. The thrombus is thankfully gone but they also seem to suggest the Apical MI has gone
