Any suggestions to sitting in hospital for hours waiting for INR test
I'm 26 and on warfarin for a mechanical aortic valve inserted in April 23. I need to be tested very regularly, normally every 2 weeks atleast. It must be a blood test as the pin prick tests proved unreliable in my case. I spend hours and hours waiting at St Barts for a blood test which is where I am

Anticoagulant users
G'day, Just after some input from NOAC and Warfarin users. I use Warfarin and have done so for nearly 14 years. No sweat ! Never had bleed problems but have had an assortment of bruising problems in that time usually from DIY mishaps. All sorts of pretty colours of blues, greens, yellows and purples

Changing blood thinner
Hey all.Just wondering if anyone has changed from warfarin to apixaban? I'm due to change to apixaban next week once my anti-coagulant nurses have found out what dose I'm to have. Is anyone else on this medication? If so what's your experience. Thanks in advance

I was listening to morning live on Monday and Dr Ranj Singh was on the programme talking about blood thinners he said with some of them you shouldn't eat Brocoli or drink Cranberry juice. I'm on Asprin and Ticagrelor what are your thoughts im a bit worried should I or should I not be consuming both.

Prepping for a frozen cycle
Hello all Could I please ask whether anyone has used the Optibac probiotics for a fresh cycle or a frozen cycle? I hadn’t heard of them until recently. If so which ones did you choose or which did your clinic suggest to use? I’m guessing intimate flora for women which suggest they reach the womb. The

Chamomile for Anxiety
Over the years I have often enjoyed a cup of relaxing chamomile tea. I have been having a lot of issues with side effects from meds, so am currently trying numerous other approaches - all after conducting a lot of research (I do that for a living). I've been trying chamomile at night for my anxiety,

10dp5dt BFN what more can I do?
hi there so we decided to test this morning with FRER and it’s the all too familiar stark one single line. Not even a glimmer of a second line. I think I’m out. This was our last embryo and was a 5AB. I did an endometrial scratch, I was down regulated on buserelin, my progesterone levels were good and

Hi Everyone, I have a question for the wise ones. I will try to keep it as short as possible. Hi everyone hope you are all good I saw pharmacist today at St Thomas’ instead of my usual APS consultant not sure why. APS or sticky blood syndrome
having suffered from PA for 20-30 years was sort of resigned to my fate of suffering from painful arms /hands and general lack of energy , anyway I then develop a Deep Vein Thrombosis in my calf muscle which I am advised could be caused by APS - also an auto immune response - was give Apixaban for
