Nitrofurantoin Antibiotics up date
I have been really frightened this last week. I thought I might be seriously ill. So many of my symptoms have returned in such a short time. A swift full on comeback of anxiety and exhaustion where I don't even want to wash myself. Even got oral thrush. Can't believe this.I've seen a doctor who did listen

significant free fluid in pouch of douglas
Oh, and also I’ve had 4 uti infections and 4 rounds of
antibiotics
in past 8 months. What should I be asking the GP for. I just want a hysterectomy and to be done with this. My mum passed away with very sudden onset and fast growing endometrial cancer in august 2022.

getting over a chest infection, still breathless and activity
I had
antibiotics
but it didn’t really help so they gave me some different ones that I started yesterday. I have noticed that I’m getting out of breath quicker than I normally would. I know this could be because of the infection but my anxiety does make me worry.

Keep getting chest infections
I’m currently on a second course of
antibiotics
since November, for an infection ( throat, chest and ears) I had Covid on 14 th December, was quite ill with it ( I’m up to date with all Covid jabs, and had a flu jab) I had 3 days ok, then went down with this current infection.

In need of support for information
I will be taking
antibiotics
to treat the bacteria. I also have to do a manometry (swallowing study) to check my esophagus muscles are functioning properly. The doctor thinks everything is fine, but still wants me to do the test.

Dull pain back of head and neck.
My hubby has had ongoing issues with his left ear, doc thought he had an ear infection, was given
antibiotics
, didn’t help. Then he started with headaches which was unusual for him. He then had a fullness feeling in his head, constantly tired and a dull pain at the back of his head.

Something else to cope with
Our practice nurse eliminated other causes following two recent courses of
antibiotics
for a chest infection. It now transpires that 62%+ of bronchiectasis sufferers have severe sinus problems as the sinuses become inflamed.

Lobectomy for bronchiectasis
From September 2022 I've had so much treatment (IV and oral
antibiotics
, x-rays, CT scans, PET scan, EBUS procedure, lung biopsy and then finally surgery). A full history of my journey is on my profile.

Well I’ve had about 5 flare ups since then,I don’t seem to be off
antibiotics
for long when I’m back on them. Before this I might add I haven’t had an antibiotic in 12 yrs.

asthma & respiratory illnesses
Whenever I get any form of respiratory illness it goes straight to my chest and I need steroids and
antibiotics
and have asthma exacerbations not really attacks. Since catching covid in 2022 I’ve started having asthma attacks whenever I get a chest infection which I’ve informed my GP of.

If you have fibro with RA are you given meds for fibro as well ?
Earlier this year I was taken off all my medication because I could never go more than 6 weeks without
antibiotics
due to infections .Turns out I had a severely infected sub mandibular gland packed with calcium stones which made it impossible to have any treatment .
