flare?
So far this year I’ve had two lots of
antibiotics
for the ensuing chest infection, and steroids ( 5 days at 40 mg). In between these extra doses I have dropped back to the 1 mg dose that I was on before. One week ago I decided to pick up my dsns tapering regime, tapering from 1 to 1/2 mg.

After 2 yes and a taper to half a mg daily, now have infections and started a full flare up
Treated with
antibiotics
, but then got cystitis which is currently being treated with another week of different
antibiotics
! Did some shopping yesterday and after carrying bags to car, had lots of pain in arms. Hips and knee pains followed, so now realise this is full PMR flare!

Severe allergic asthma constant flare ups
I was prescribed
antibiotics
and pred. Later that day I had an asthma attack and was admitted to a and e. I spent 24 hrs in resus as I was extremely short of breath and was kept in hospital for 5 days. After 2 weeks of rest I returned to skl and by the end of the day my cough was back.

10 Year Old with Uncontrolled Asthma
Currently on 3rd dose of steriods in a short space of time, along with
antibiotics
now as there is a crackle/squeak in the bottom of the lung. She's already on seretide, has anyone else had experience of this, and how did they finally get it under control?

Peak Flow Down After Chest Infection
I got
antibiotics
and am feeling a lot better, but my peak flow is still down. I normally have a PF of 410ish. I've been between 270-320 all week. I was taking my reliever as instructed before I went to the doctors, and when I went they changed my asthma plan. However, I'm still low.

lack of help
Even after
antibiotics
the hallucinations continue. The hospital just seemed to want rid of her with nothing planned for her future care/needs. Her daughter is at her wits end with where to go for help/advice. She was discharged to a local care home for ‘assessment of her future needs’.

Tips for dealing with GP
I contacted my surgery only to be told as usual, there were no appointments but a doctor did issue
antibiotics
and steroid nasal spray. A week went by and I contacted the surgery again as I still had a fever and, by now, I had developed a really aggressive cough.

He also told me to stop taking
antibiotics
which I have been taking 3 times a week. Looks like I have to wait to see of I contract COVID re anti virals. Again not sure how they might interact. Sorry for long post. Tony.

Lupus rash
I have been unwell with flu and I am now on
antibiotics
for ear infections. I am hoping it will disappear when I pick up a bit. Just wondering if anyone has any advice how to clear it? Thanks for reading.

is Symprove really worth the cost?Dietician has recommended it to me
l have also been taking prophylactic
antibiotics
on a low dose for years, so the dietician is recommending Symprove to help with this and my very limited choices I now have with food. Would Symprove in theory, work to some extent with the symptoms I have?

Stupidly I haven’t increased pred (been at 2mg for ages) No suggestion to do so from GP’s when seeing them re
antibiotics
for chest. of course now feeling really crap- not too stuff- but a bit and also the general unwell / anxiety ridden feelings.
