Still just worried
Why it worries me is I don’t like taking
antibiotics
unnecessarily, but within the last 3 months I’ve had to take them 3 times, before that I managed to avoid them for 12yrs. Now that just don’t seem right to me. I’m in constant pain from when I wake up to when I go to bed.

Could be some positivity for frequent UTI sufferers.
So for the last 14 months when my attempts at tapering the Prednisolone have been hampered by these constant UTI infections, not to mention feeling constantly unwell all that time by the symptoms, nausea, being unable to eat, low sodium effects, etc. my previous GP continued to prescribe only 3 days
antibiotics

Spirometry non-obstructive, CT shows scarring but no fibrosis/legions/bronchiectasis so what’s wrong???
It took five months and six courses of
antibiotics
to shift it. X rays showed ‘chronic atelectasis’ in right base. I’ve been sent for CT and spirometry, and gone through the results with my GP, who has essentially said the above.

Stuck in the middle with - er, Denise. Sorry, Denise 😬
Going to give it a couple more days then I'll beg my GP for
antibiotics
if I don't feel any better.I'm so glad I sneaked that extra run in, it was a lovely sunny moment between rain and sofa!

Very fast onset of Pneumonia! It’s a long story; are you comfortable…
sepsis) Got to Resus and the medical staff immediately filled him with
antibiotics
, fluids and just about everything else I think! Turns out it was pneumococcal pneumonia. He came home a couple of days ago with doctors orders to rest for 6 weeks.

Circumcision- Two Weeks Healing The Body & The Mind
As the week progressed, I did have to go on a course of preventative
antibiotics
at the end of week 1 because the frenulum stitch was still looking like it was open, it was bleeding a tiny bit, and the surgeon said it was better to be safe than sorry.

Please help: I have cystitis and having an IBS flare up means taking antibiotic !
I was told by the doctor to take
antibiotics
(100mg nitrofuranroin) for 7 days, and my bowels usually can’t handle
antibiotics
. So I’m quite terrified for taking them, as I get bed bound, but I know I need to take them. Especially with my current flare up. Is there a link to flare ups and UTIs?

Need advice on getting diagnosis
She went to the doctor and was prescribed
antibiotics
for a possible urinary tract infection. The medicine did not help at all. By January 2024, her symptoms had worsened and included: pain in the lower back, pain in her legs, tingling in her feet, pain in her abdomen, and etc.

Long time PRD sufferer.
Was treated in hospital with longterm IV
antibiotics
. Within the past few years I've been having fistulas recurring quite often and putting me back in hospital. Various other problems throughout my life. ( I could write a book lol). October last year I finally got diagnosed with PRD.

out of hospital after pneumonia
Have been receiving
antibiotics
and 30-40 mg of pred daily during my stay. Was released on Monday stating I’ve had nasty case of pneumonia. Instructions on discharge to go back immediately to 5.5 mg of pred which I’ve done. No mention of adrenal crisis in discharge letter.

Ding Ding…Round Three.
More surgery and three months of IV
antibiotics
put me back on track again. I’d lost most of my sight and that took a year or so to return….it’s pretty good now, good enough to drive again…hooray. Never thought I’d miss traffic jams.

Which could be because of
antibiotics
I'm permanently on for my cuti or my gallbladder which I'm waiting to be removed. I've had cancer 6mths ago and radical hysterectomy for it. In Jan I had cortisol checked privately which showed low and I haven't known how to treat it.
