AMH levels reduced after laparoscopy. Has anyone else experienced this ???
I recently had a laparoscopy done as part of my fertility treatment. I had the op on 1st September and was discharged the same day not being told if the op had gone well no feedback. The kind nurse that was looking after me let me sneak a look at the notes from the op. Couldn’t really read the writing

I quit smoking but relapsed after failed cycle
I quit smoking four months ago in order to start IVF. I've been smoking since I was 13, I'm now 35 and over the last year have tried to quit multiple times. Each attemp saw me gain about 10lbs so attempt number 5 had to stick, which it did. Four months for me is amazing. I have low AMH and I was told

Hypothyrodism & autoimmune disease
Hi everyone. I'm new on here, so please bear with me. Following the removal of my left thyroid (it had been engulfed by a tumour - benign thankfully) in October, I have never felt more unwell in my life! I had a thyroid blood test on 5th Nov, which hospital said was 'in range, but at the very bottom'

Help with next step after being told I have non viable eggs
Hi, we had one round of iui, resulting in miscarriage at 7 weeks, followed by one round of long protocol ivf, one egg collected, made it to 5 day transfer, grade A embryo but resulted in a BFN. I am 41 with an amh of 1. The clinic has said donor egg or adoption are my options going forward. Not sure

IVF Round 3 Changed Protocol - Your Thoughts?
Happy New Year All After my BFN in December (second failed round), I finally had my WTF app with the clinic yesterday. The consultant seems to think that embryo quality is the main reason while my two good quality blasts have not implanted, and didn't see any merit in exploring endometrial issues.

Just wanted some advice... I have my review with my clinic tomorrow after our FET which ended in early miscarriage. Sadly this our 3rd early miscarriage (1 from a natural pregnancy, 1 when I was in my early 20s & 1 from FET) and my GP has referred me to the recurrent miscarriage unit. Our 1st cycle

Advice for low AMH - protocol ?
Hi Everyone, Happy New Year ! I’m coming to the end of my TWW and my OTD is tomorrow but unfortunately I started to have menstrual cramps at 5dpt. I knew it was game over immediately as the pain shifted from my uterus to around my belly. I am 10dpt today and I’ve started to have red spotting/ blood

Male early 60s. I was on prednisolone from Aug 2019 to July 2020, tapering down from 15mg as per rheumatologist schedule. I also gave up alcohol and sugar, most red meat at that time. (Loosely followed Mediterranean diet). Did 10-15 mins yoga most mornings and some light cycling. Now from Nov 2020 I

South Wales NHS Funding Criteria
Does anyone have any experience or knowledge of South Wales/Cardiff NHS funding criteria please? I’ve heard that there’s a lower AMH limit of 5 and/or that FSH has to be lower than 12 at baseline. My AMH is 2.6 and my baseline FSH was 11 this time last year :S. I have an appointment with the consultant

9th loss - falling apart
Can anyone recommend via private message a recurrent miscarriage specialist?. I did see a specialist in Coventry a few years ago but I’m a few years down the line in the same situation. He bet me £50 I would have a baby and told me not to worry! I’m literally falling apart. Just had my 9th loss which
