South Wales NHS Funding Criteria

Does anyone have any experience or knowledge of South Wales/Cardiff NHS funding criteria please?

I’ve heard that there’s a lower AMH limit of 5 and/or that FSH has to be lower than 12 at baseline. My AMH is 2.6 and my baseline FSH was 11 this time last year :S.

I have an appointment with the consultant on 13th Jan so just trying to prepare myself for the possibility of not qualifying for NHS funding. I had a telephone appointment in September with the fertility nurse and mentioned my worries and she said that due to my age (32) it might be okay. They’ve since asked me to have further baseline bloods taken so there’s a chance my FSH may now be higher than 11/12.

Thanks in advance if anyone has info Xxx

Thank you for sending that. It mentions low AMH in there but only in reference to women aged between 40-42 and no mention of FSH level exclusion criteria. Fingers crossed Xx
