AMH menopause
Can someone explain these results. It says AMH 3.7 Apparently its meant to be between 5-35. Is that a percentage? I know the number represents ovarian reserve, but in what capacity? Also confused at the IVF response bit And now im worried this means i will go through menopause soon, someone please tell

Ovulated before egg collection
Hi, Just checking whether anyone has ever encountered this. I was due to have my egg collection yesterday after triggering on Monday evening at 10.30. Yesterday morning I had very bad stomach pains, I didnt think much about it but it was a struggle to get to the clinic. Anyway, I mentioned the pain

A feel of relief šš»āāļø
We had our appointment with the fertility doctor on Tuesday. I had a mild panic attack before going as I was just anticipating the worst. When we got there I felt numb and just wanted to go home. When we got in the doctors office I was a little quiet to begin with whilst she went through my husbands

Starting IVF short protocol today - how does it work?
Hello all, I was wondering if anyone has been through this and can provide any guidance. I had my baseline scan today for my first ever IVF cycle, they found a 4cm simple cyst but a blood test showed that it's not producing hormones so I'm free to start the injections tonight. I'm on 450 menopur as

Egg collection booked for Monday
Hi lovelies! Had my scan on Friday and egg collection is booked for Monday... They think they have 6 big follicles which is apparently good for my low AMH šŖš» They saw a polyp that they said the Dr would have a look at on Monday, it may get in the way of an embryo transfer so hoping they think itāll

Anyone else with high AMH?
I have high amh 45.2 with no underlying cause. I'm 38. First cycle long protocol and 18 eggs. Developed OHSS. Used bemfola and supercur first cycle. Now doing antagonist (150ui fostimon and 37.5 menopur daily). I realise this is low dose due to high amh. Just trying to second guess how many eggs I'll

My Baby 1 week old
After being told it was highly unlikely I would be able to have a child of my own due to low AMH levels by a fertility nurse. I had a healthy little Boy James first attempt of IVF weighed 7 pound 4oz. I also had gestional diabetics and a near miscarriage I am so happy. It is possible regardless what

Hot flushes and night sweats
Hi all, Iām 35 and have very low AMH. I had an ICSI cycle cancelled before egg collection earlier this year because I didnāt respond to the medications. Weāre having a break until the new year when weāre hoping to go for a private cycle, but recently Iāve been having hot flushes and night sweats. I

Advice please.... What a difference 2 years makes
2 years ago we had just had our 2nd failed ICSI treatment for āunexplained fertilityā I asked for an AMH as my clinic never did it initially. In 2017 my AMH was 25.55 which Iām told is good/high fertility potential and my antral follicle count was 22 (apparently) Even with those figures and the highest

Allergic reaction to topical NSAID, not Afib!
Several months ago I joined this group because I had an elevated heart rate event that was diagnosed as Afib. My story follows: I believed I had had an allergic reaction to a topical NSAID. My heart rate went from my normal resting of 55 to 130 within an hour of applying a topical NSAID to my thumb

NHS funding rejected due to low AMH
Hey all. Just a little update. As we suspected, we just found out we are not eligible for NHS funding due to my low AMH. I feel a bit sad about this but fortunately we are able to go down the private route. Just wish I has known sooner. Can't get appointment at local clinic until November but guess it

Any advice on 'Freeze All' cycles?
Hello. We had our nurse planning appointment last week and they said because I have very high chance of OHSS (high AMH and AFC), they would probably recommend a freeze all cycle. Has anyone had experience of this? How long do you wait between collection and frozen transfer? Thank you.

Fresh v frozen
After a failed first cycle, we are discussing options for the second. We have 5 embryos on ice. We get 3 rounds on the NHS and have just been informed we can have a fresh cycle if we want. Previously I was told we had to use our frozen embryos. The hfea stats show for women under 35 a higher chance

Hsg test
So finally I got sense out my GP surgery who have agreed to refer me for this test (long story but I had a battle on my hands). No guarantees they will agree to investigations though. I've requested the test as I'm nearly 39 and not once been pregnant. Prior to my OH's vasectomy he fathered two children
