Had my 3rd scan this morning for current round of ivf. Only 2 follicles are responding to stims one of which is over 16, the other is slightly under absolutely gutted. I have low AMH it was 7.1 but that was about 18 months ago. Last 2 rounds I got 4 eggs so never expecting loads but it's really disappointing. Both previous rounds produced 1 blast, and both ended in miscarriage. Not sure I can do another round, I'm doing it alone with donor sperm. I've thought about donor eggs but my clinics waiting list is 2 years. Can anyone recommend any clinics for donor eggs in Northern England, I'm in Scotland so there isn't really much option here. PM with details.

Just wanted to say, don't give up hope yet. I started with 4 follicles and only 1 responded to meds. That one egg fertilised and I'm now 10 weeks pregnant. I was the same as you, each scan was more and more disappointing but it worked for us. Wishing you all the best x

HiJust wanted to say I'm sorry to learn that no eggs were retrieved. I've experienced this myself so wanted to reach out as it is simply awful to wake up and discover this news. I hope the clinic staff were supportive and I wish you well for whatever is next xx

Thank you, sorry this happened to you too. Everyone was really lovely so that helps. Not sure what's next thinking recheck my AMH as it was last done in Nov 2020, then maybe one more round of IVF with own eggs to check it wasn't just an anomaly. I have used up my 3 rounds with access fertility and was on a 50% refund package so due some back. Then if that's not successful donor eggs?

I'm pleased they were supportive and you found that helpful. It's much needed at these upsetting times. How did your previous two rounds go? I'm currently starting to look at donor eggs myself after a turbulent journey I'm not quite at the finish page with own eggs but certainly not got much left in me now. I hope you get some answers and wishing you well for trying again. After my zero eggs I got 6 on the next cycle which I was chuffed with xx

I had 4 eggs each on my last 2 rounds. 1 blastocyst each round both fresh transfers ended in missed miscarriage between 7 and 9 weeks. Prior to that had 4 IUI's all BFN. I know what you mean, my life has been on hold so long not sure I can do many more cycles. Been looking at donor eggs, already on my clinics donor egg list for the last few months but the waiting is 2 years, don't think I can wait that long. Also debating fresh vs frozen eggs - think fresh seems to have a higher success rate. Also UK vs abroad, abroad has shorter lists but donors anonymous and comes with added travel stress. So much to think about! Good luck to you as well.
