Never ending problems
I am going to moan - big time - because I am getting to the point where I don't know which way to turn. I have Hashimotos Thyroiditis, Arthritis, Pernicious Anaemia, Hypertension, Coeliac disease and now some unexplained kidney problem. I have had an MRI which has shown a problem but I don't know what

Short vs long protocol
Hi guys, I’ve got another conundrum 😖 I’ve had two failed rounds of IVF on the short protocol. Both cycles resulted in far fewer than expected eggs collected and only ever one low quality embryo transferred each time. Only difference between the two cycles was my gonal f dose was doubled for the second

Clinic recommendations; Oxford area
Hello all! We are looking for clinic recommendations in the Oxford area! We have been investigated so far on the NHS, with a current diagnosis of "unexplained infertility", but are ineligible for NHS funding as we are 36 and 37, so private it will have to be! We live in Bicester, so are looking

Referral to Professor Siobhan Quenby for RIF
Hi all, This is my first time posting after joining this community a couple of months ago. I was wondering if anyone had been referred by their GP to the implantation clinic at Coventry Hospital with Professor Siobhan Quenby. If so, how long did the referral take and what sort of tests do they

When to move to donor eggs?
Hi everyone, I’m on my third cycle of IVF with my own eggs. I have pretty low AMH (9) and although I’ve had 10 eggs from cycle 1&2 just one embryo that tested abnormal, so quality is an issue too. no probs with my partner. My third cycle is following a similar path to the last one; small number

Understanding the source of my pain.
Hi everyone, I'm having difficulty assessing the source of my pain and am seeking clarification from anyone who can help. First, the good news: As of yesterday and today, most of my pain is gone. It's been nine days since I raised my prednisone from 20mg to 25mg. I had been worried that 25mg was not

I have suffered with a painful back most of my adult life. Gp would give me nsaids. The last few year I couldn’t stand the pain throughout my body. Legs and hip’s especially painful. I have had several falls within the last six months. Two year ago I was referred to a rheumatologist. He diagnosed fibromyalgia

Hello, I have been recommended duo stim with mild/natural modified IVF by a fertility specialist and need some help deciding on a (or even finding the right ) clinic. Both duo stim and mild IVF seem appropriate given my age (41) and AMH levels. I can't find many clinics that do this. So far I have

Massive amh drop, in total despair
Well my lovely friends, after my last cancelled cycle where my body didn't respond to the drugs, now we know why. My amh has dropped from 16.7 to 2.2 inside 14 months. I'm lost for words, as was my Dr who said he's only ever seen this once before. I mean it was hard enough to get pregnant, but what

COSENTYX alternative??
I have melanoma so cannot have
anti
TNF
medication. I am worried the consultant will stop the Cosentyx as I don't want to lose the small improvement I have seen. So frustrating that the drugs take so long to take effect. My last steroid injection did not work either .

x2 failed 3BB blasto, 45 yrs old, low AMH - what to do?
Hi all, I just did my 8th FET with x2 emyro and they both failed (these were my last embryos). I do have a son who was a success on my 4th round 3 years ago. I'm getting older and I have a low AMH, I was told I have a 1% chance. I will have no eggs in a few months time. I am now so confused on what

Cancelled cycle
Hi everyone, just wanted to see if anyone had experienced a cycle cancellation due to the risk of OHSS. After 8 days of stimulation, I've been told that my cycle had to be cancelled as too many follicles have been developing (29 were seen on the scan) and my estrogen levels were way too high (3,500

Extremely low amh-looking for hope
This is my first post. I have recently been told I have reduced ovarian reserve. I am 37 and my AFC count was 5, AMH was 0.7pmol.I paid for a private fertility assessment as my husband and I had decided we want a baby but just wanted to make sure we had plenty of time as I was bringing my weight down

Trying to process everything
Having spoken to IVF nurse yesterday she has confirmed that we need to do IVF as quick as possible as at 33 my AMH is only 1.5 pmol/l so v v low for my age. Sperm from my OH is also lower on all 4 parts so we've been told we need ICSI. Been told the likelihood of IVF working is between 12 and 19% each
