Using Oxford Biosciences Methylcobalamin as safely as possible
Obviously injecting from a multi use vial with a screw top lid is a less than ideal situation, but it seems that this is currently the only way to obtain injectable methylcobalamin. Do any users take any special precautions to reduce the risk of contamination? I was wondering about purchasing some

I'll do one a week for 10 weeks. I've felt off, breathy and tired for a year or so now. Someday's, i just can't get off

Iron/Ferritin
Dear All,I have now had my latest blood tests back and my ferritin levels, with the help of iron tablets, has risen from 45 to 120. However, unlike others in our group, my RLS are still pretty awful. Do I have to be patient and hope the RLS now improve???? Otherwise it will be pretty depressing. Sue

Blood cell size and shape data?
I've now been on Rux/Jakafi for about six weeks. My blood count numbers haven't changed in the last two weeks, so may be stabilizing at or near normal levels. I'll be more confident about this after my next blood work in two weeks. That being said, I wonder if anyone can enlighten me as to the meaning

Advice please.
I was diagnosed with PA in 2006 after having a blood transfusion due to low haemoglobin. I was given the loading dose of b12 and then continued to have them every 8-12 weeks. I was also prescribed 5mg folic acid daily. In 2015 I seemed to develop a sensitivity to my b12 injections (hives, hot flushed

Folate research
I came across an article in Medscape that descibes a research project involving folate. The research examined existing data. Here is the link for the article. I hope it is available to everyone. https://www.medscape.com/viewarticle/981832 Quoted here is the only part of the article that mentions B12

Anaemia, blood pressure and Amlodipine
However, just recently I have experienced various symptoms including breathlessness, and iron-deficient
anaemia
has been diagnosed. The underlying cause of this is being investigated. My question is this - will this
anaemia
be reducing my blood pressure?

Anagrelid to Interferon and Hashimoto.
All doctors to date said no interferon (I have Hashimoto) and no HU ( I have inborn
anaemia
). When I tried it once, I had nasty neurological side effects. Now I found a new MPN specialist. Only 5 in all Austria. I drive 180 Km to get there. She’s a team player and easy to talk to.

B12 differences??
I haven't been able to get my usual Hydroxocobalamin jabs from Versandapo for days. I have the 1ml/ 1mg size EOD. My thigh muscles have shrunk so l do sub. cut. tummy alternatively with intra. mus.thighs. The alternative order appears to be Cyanocobalamin. Why is this not so popular here? Efficacy

Prolactinoma and all things thyroid
Hi everyone, I am looking to anybody who may be able to offer some guidance and support on the below issues. I was diagnosed by endocrinologist in late 2021 with low vitamin D and prolactinoma due to my menstral cycle stopping. At diagnosis my thyroid results were: FT4 13.7 pmol/L, (9-22) FT3 4.65
