Newbie also!
Try CHERRY ACTIVE (juice/capsules) from Amazon I've tried optimal and pure nature high strength these give a better quality of sleep than just with
amitriptyline
alone (athletes use these for muscle recovery). Also I've found that a CLEAN diet helps ibs symptoms (mine almost none existent).

Duloxetine (Cymbalta)
I started doing research and figured out it was withdrawal from the
Amitriptyline
. I'm the one that had to tell the doctors!! Sure enough, they gave her a whopping dose and all her symptoms cleared up.

I also tried 25 mg of
amitriptyline
for 2 1/2 weeks with no success. Anal valium suppositories made it worse. This problem causes not only physical pain but affects me emotionally. Has anyone found Drs in Nirth Carolina who treat this condition. Has anyone gone to Dr Anyolak in Minnesota?

Pain/Fatigue in Vasculitis (even when other symptoms are under control)
For example: - ankles when standing - anywhere I lay on for too long at night -
amitriptyline
helps get me through the night. As does a form mattress and pillow. I only use codeine and paracetamol for pain relief.

Amitriptyline.. again!
All of which advise
amitriptyline
as a last resort.. went through all this and explained why I rather not take it, and that I'm at a stage in life where I can deal with my rls but I think it could get worse.

Just wanted to query with you, I used to take
Amitriptyline
before bed and it didn't help much and was changed to duloxetine which again doesn't help much. Just wondering if anyone has had any experience with these or if anyone is taking anything different :) Thank you

Has anyone been prescribed
amitriptyline
for pain? For quite a few months I have been prescribed different tabs and liquid for ongoing chronic stomach and chest pain without much benefit.

What to do?!
Earlier this year she did refer me to a Neurologist who prescribed
Amitriptyline
for the tingling. So as of today she has given me Ferrous Fumarate (210mg) to take, and also to start on the
Amitriptyline
.

A change of brand of medication, can this make a difference?
I have been taking
amitriptyline
( for 9 months ) & pregabalin ( for 5 months ) and it's been working great for me. Ive still had the very odd day where I'm aching, but nothing in comparison to how I prevoiusly have been.

Benefits of Amitriptyline
What are the pros and cons of
Amitriptyline
tabs for pain? I have been taking them (10mg) for only three days and already I've found them helpful.

Compulsive Behaviour or Two Loves?
My medication is 2x25/100mg Sinemet 4 times per day 200mg Quinine for my leg pains and night time cramps. 10mg
Amitriptyline
or 250microgram of Clonazepam to help me sleep. I stopped taking Ropinirole about 18 months ago as it made no difference to my condition.

Saying hello
I have been put on
Amitriptyline
. I started on 10mg and have increased the dose by 10mg over the last few weeks and have now reached 70mg which is now giving me a great nights sleep. I am surprised. I also realise that this may not last long. Has anyone had this experience?
