Results say borderline hypothyroid
I have been taking naproxen omeprazole, zapping and
amitriptyline
for this. I was already taking bisoprolol fumarate for high blood pressure. I have had Rosacea for a long time too and now get tinnitus since taking meds for pain.

Recently prescribed
Amitriptyline
(10mg) which is also used for depression - but it works well on nerve pain and also zonks me out enough to allow me to sleep through the night.... I had an x-ray taken of my pelvis, which I was able to look at alongside the specialists.

Introduction, apparently I have severe depression
I am currently on
Amitriptyline
Hydrochloride and Omeprazole (temporary until they now if my stomach is injured). I have gone through a lot of depressive moments in my life including 5 suicides at work. Without sounding harsh it did not effect me, it can't, it'll effect my work if it did..

Amitriptyline has it worked for you?
I have just been to the Dr's and been prescribed
Amitriptyline
, i know they are part of the anti-depressants and therefore very reluctant to start taking these tablets as i don't want to become dependent on them.

Making progress . . . .
I've stopped taking
amitriptyline
and am now taking 20mg of citalopram daily and this seems to be having a really good effect. The audiologist at the Freeman also challenged me to accept more noise into my life, which I am trying to do, so far with good results.

Frightened New Migrainer
Due to the increase in frequency I went to see my GP who has put me on
Amitriptyline
. He also mentioned being referred to a neurologist and finished the conversation with what to look out for when having a stroke.

Coming off Amitriptyline for Migraine Relief...there is hope!!
I've been from self-medicating, to prescription preventatives and Triptans for relief and eventually ended up on
Amitriptyline
, with my maximum dose being 50mg each evening.
