Could Amitriptyline cause vaginal bleeding?

I've been taking Amitriptyline for approx 18 days and have had vaginal bleeding/spotting since being on it (well after about a week into taking them I stopped but bleeding was still minor so continued to help me sleep through pain). I get bad lower right cramps anyway which haven't subsided since taking the amitriptyline and the bleeding is slowly increasing. Could they be linked or is it more likely to be my pill? I'm so confused and can't go back to my gps until next thursday...

I’ve been taking amitriptyline for 4 years and it’s unlinked to bleeding, my pill on the other hand makes it better or worse x

I read online that it has been linked to bleeding as a rare side effect during clinical trials. I've been on my pill for a while and it has worked perfectly until I started Amitriptyline and then I began the bleeding. Seems like it may be an odd coincidence but I'm probably going to switch to the next medication in my plan instead to see if it stops the annoying bleeding.

Hmmm 🤔 This might explain why my pill goes haywire every now and then and sends my bleeding into overdrive 🤔
