Zoledronic Acid infusion
So I’ve had the first infusion and boy I was so ill for 2 weeks - is this really worth it for 3 x annual infusions ? I’ve just had a thought is having these 3 infusions a permanent cure so as to speak or will my bones degenerate again over time because if they do just what is the point of having it

Omega-3 supplement does not help above 50- Study indicates.
It has got all the essential
amino
acids
our body needs along with rich sources of BCAA. However, unfortunately most of the people can not digest whey properly. I tried myself and gave up after first few mild doses after stomach cramps . Then I found out from reviews that I was not alone !

This journey is so tough...
Starting cycle 2 25th September and I'm terrified of failure again. It's costing so much which is added stress. I'm so scared it'll fail again. I'm literally on every supplement under the sun... My ova, inofolic, dhea, high strength vitamin D and c, folic acid, pregnacare, coq10, omega 3. Due to start

Rheumy update
Saw the rheumy last week and although I didn’t get the results yet for the DXA scan on 2nd August, I am to stick with the Prednisolone and a slow taper. Hurrah! The Leuflomide and mycophenolate (apologies for spelling) questions arose but they are not recommended for me- hurrah again! I did tell the

Hot Flushes
Hi, it's been a while since I posted, I have been following the advice given and support from members. I am still in what Drs call sub clinical Hashimotos Thyroiditis, still not being treated for it as my labs are all in range. My TSH goes between 3.39 to 6.03 currently it is 4.39. Same labs and ranges

Thyroid and other labs
I have been feeling hyperthyroid lately so have been decreasing Thyroid-S over several months, from 5 to 3 grains, without much symptom relief I might add. My latest labs from Sept 09 read as follows: TSH <0.01 mUI/L (0.35-4.5) free T4 ng/dL 0.7 (0.7-1.5) free T3 pg/mL 2.7 (1.6-3.2) I usually take Thyroid-S

The essential amino acids and where we get them. 🌶
All the food that we eat is broken down into base
amino
acids
, some our bodies make from the food we eat the remaining 9 are the essential
amino
acids
that have to come from our food.

Alendronic acid
Hi, I've just been reading the leaflet that has come with my alendronic acid, it says some people can't take it, one of these reasons is if you have digestive problems, I have IBS and UC, do the doctors not actually look at your notes before prescribing meds, I already have bad indigestion from the steroids

Thoughts on IVF success?
Just read an old post on here which suggests ladies who have first time success usually don't have problems themselves and is much more likely to lie with the guys. Started to get me worried. My OH has 2 children from his marriage then had a vasectomy. He has since had it reversed which has been successful

Ibandronic Acid
I tried to tolerate Alendronic Acid, but was quite poorly with taking it, However my doctor prescribed Ibandronic Acid taken monthly; this is the 3rd monthly dose now. I can truly say now that I’ve had no side effects at all- Hope this helps someone experiencing the side effects of Alendronic Acid.
