Omeprazole
I am now down to 1 mg on Prednisolone and all through my journey I have not had any relapses. Can I ask, If you are also down to 1 mg can you please let me know whether you are still taking Omeprazole and also Alendronic acid. I was wondering whether it was necessary now on a low dose of steroids?

Pill causing more pain?
Hi all. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this? I started Cilique at the end of September and things were grand, apart from the mood swings and general low mood. Around 4 weeks ago I started spotting (I’m running the packs together as advised by my consultant) and since then the bleeding

When to stop taking Omeprazole?
I have just stopped taking Prednisolone- yippee. As long as this remains the case, I am only taking 15mg MTX once a week, Alendronic Acid once a week and Warfarin / a Statin at night. I have had no issues whatsoever with acid reflux so I’m wondering whether I could leave off the Omeprazole. I emailed

Covid 19 and vitamins - preliminary results of observational study
Research shows some vitamin supplements may have a small effect on COVID-19 risk December 1, 2020 Many people think that taking vitamins and other supplements can help maintain a healthy immune system. Flaxseed -pro or con or does it depend on your status
Not necessarily a very reliable site since they have conflicts of interest. However, the discussion of estrogens and flaxseed is of interest. https://www.goldenflax4u.com/category-s/43.htm This doctor believes that flaxseed consumption helps prevent tumors from spreading: https://sperlingprostatecenter.com

Prolia
Hi friends. I have been prescribed Prolia by a bone specialist and thought I would seek your opinions on the matter. Here's what's happening: I have had PMR for 2 years and am still on 16mg of prednisone. Right now I am using the DSNS method with a bit of an extension to reduce 1mg every 6 weeks or so

Timing of/taking supplements
Hi I already take quite a few supplements ie vits/minerals etc. Take magnesium, calcium, multi Bs, Omega 3, D3 etc. I've only just been more aware of the timing of taking them, when alerted to possible iron level issues with RA. As I'm also vegan, I have tried to separate certain ones like magnesium

Hi everyone, I've been taking a centrum multivitamin, omega 3, and vitamin d supplement for just over a year now but recently got some choline as I have read in a few places it's good for liver problems however a search on here brings up nothing about choline. Does anyone else take it or have been told

Recommended High Antioxidants
Here are the antioxidants that may have some effect on oxidant stress in AMN, and they are all safe. Biotin 300 mg /day; and Vitamin D3 dose 50,000 IU weekly. A small study of antioxidants in AMN showed improvement of some biomarkers with this cocktail: N- Acetyl Cysteine (NAC) (2400 mg); Alpha

Fibromyalgia and PMR?
Hi there, I am 55 and was diagnosed with PMR in January 2019, put on 20mg pred as 15 didn’t do the trick. Added Alendronic acid due to a poor Dexa scan result and also take Adcal D3, K2 and magnesium for my bones. I reduced the pred slowly and steadily but struggled to get lower that 12.5mg without pain

Fish Oil Supplements
I have been faithfully taking Omega-3 (500mg) three times daily hopefully thinking it will help prevent my arrhythmia from coming back. Today I came across two articles by Verywell that counter this belief: https://www.verywellhealth.com/fish-oil-may-not-reduce-cardiac-events-study-finds-5088456?utm_campaign

Second DEXA Scan Results
In 2018 I had a DEXA scan which showed osteopaenia. NOF was -2, total hip -1.3 and spine -1.9. A few weeks after that scan which, fortunately was done on my left side, I broke my right NOF running a marathon (no fall, classed as a high impact event) and joined this forum. I did leave hospital with
