GORD and asthma
Anyone else here with GORD and asthma? I have both and a lot of the time I'm breathless and fatigued. I had a gastroscopy today and nothing showed up. The Consultant declared 'Good news!' but I had been hoping there was something wrong like an ulcer, that I could work on and be well again. She did take

Theophylline
Hello I have my medication review next week and we’re discussing switching Montelukast for Theophylline as my asthma is becoming more controlled and isn’t allergen driven. Does anyone have any experience of Theophylline. For reference, I have severe asthma that is barely controlled, and for the majority

Afib/ectopics and hayfever
Hello everyone, Background: 30 year old fit and healthy male, long history of ectopics and one episode of afib 2.5 years ago (electrically cardioverted in hospital). I have started to notice that my ectopics seem to flare up in conjunction with hayfever symptoms, and looking back they have been worse

Bread & asthma
I decided to lay off bread for a while due to non asthma related issues. Today I realised I haven’t felt as breathless, I am wondering if this is just a coincidence.

Anybody have this with asthma and find drugs don't work in any aspect of their lives? I was told by Cardiff Hospital that I probably have a Neanderthal gene which they associate with food allergies, diabetes and passing out when nervous. This gets more terrifying with age when you need statins etc.

Allergies and CLL
Hi. I’m still trying to figure out the lymphadenopathy getting worse but blood work, PET, and BMB are normal. Nothing alarming there except for three larger nodes, but not where the swelling is most unsightly. I asked my onc about allergies being the reason (he thinks it might be lupus or another immune

I am wondering if I am the only one. Are there any other people out there with dust as a trigger to their asthma?

Pollen & Hot Weather 🌞
VERY HIGH pollen levels and HIGH TEMPERATURES are forecast over the next few days. Allergies to pollen cause hay fever, which can trigger or cause your symptoms to flare up if you have asthma. Make sure you take your hay fever medicines like antihistamines and/or nasal sprays and try to avoid going

No allergies but reacting on pollen?
Yesterday I was in someone's garden for some hours, and suddenly I noticed myself getting breathless and a bit wheezy. Nothing much, and with ventolin I could ease quite quickly. i have been better for at least a year now than I have been for a long time. My asthma is not allergy related, I react on
