Last week hay fever really kicked off and made me feel SOB in the afternoon/evening especially outside. Yesterday I woke up with tightness, coughing and chest feeling off. Peak flow dropped yday/today and now feel like a croaky voice, higher heart rate than usual and feel like I can’t move air due to tightness in my chest. Typically I started a new treatment today of a daily antibiotics. Still on fostair/qvar/ xolair/ antihistamines etc.

The pollen has definitely affected my asthma and peak flow. It's felt like the beginnings of a flare up. I am now avoiding going outside. I do have Naroo pollen masks as approved by allergy UK and they do help. It's awful as you have to open windows when cooking/showering. I feel trapped inside the house. My asthma is just starting to calm down, as I do the Buteyko exercise called Many Small Breath Holds which really eases my symptoms. I hope that you feel better.

Hi I am the same. Chest heavy SOB and coughing. Think the heat abd high pollen triggered it. Doubled up my seroflo and using ventolin more. Usually start half way in July but early this year. Hate it can't do much. Hoping it settles abit now raining here x
