Lung symptoms vs eye and nose symptoms

To those who are on "systemic" drugs for allergic asthma, what do you notice in terms of control of your lung symptoms vs control of allergic symptoms in the eyes and the nose?

A-fib with asthma.

I've discovered I may possible have seasonal, or allergic asthma. I see my doctor on Friday. Does anyone on the forum have asthma and do medications trigger a-fib episodes? Thanks for any responses.

Transition from Xolair to Dupixent

Hi everyone, I have allergic asthma and I was on Xolair for three years. My doctor recently switched me to Dupixent to see if it's a better fit (I was still having flares on Xolair).

Changes in type of asthma

About 5 years l saw my respiratory consultant who put me on daily Predisolone to help with my asthma symptoms with view to putting me forward to have the xolair injection at this time my asthma was described as severe allergic asthma / brittle asthma, but at this time my markers didn't qualify me for

Anyone else suffer with daily chronic phlegm ?

I have had to see the Dr this week who thinks I have allergic asthma and prescribed me with an Easyinhaler to take with a review in one month. Unsure what I would be allergic to? I did suffer with asthma in childhood and have since been in remission in adult life.

Mannitol challenge

A consultant I saw a couple of years ago, said that my asthma is non allergic and non eosinophilic and has a different pathway to these asthma types. He also said there has been a lack of research and not a lot is known about my asthma type, but that I’m on all the medication available to me.

allergies, asthma and polyps

Like many asthma sufferers I am allergic to many things; cats, dogs, all types of pollen, dust and have a sulphite intolerance. I have had nasal polyps since 2000 but now they have spread to my ears. I’ve been wearing hearing aids for a year now as I’m totally deaf without them.

Inconsiderate delivery drivers

I have a condition which causes an allergic asthma type response to everyday laundry products, perfumes/fragrances. I always ask the driver to step well back and to take a photo with the door open a little and my hand around it.

Coping with asthma at the moment

Morning fellow asthma sufferers, I'm sure there are many out there like me finding that the high pollen levels are increasing asthma symptoms. My asthma was only diagnosed 3+ years ago 6 months after my bronchiectasis diagnosis so I feel I'm still trying to understand my triggers and how to deal with

would you say this plan is sensible or over the top?

I have quite a few factors associated with asthma but haven’t actually been diagnosed with it. The following factors mean that I worry that I have some form of asthma or will develop it: I have chronic rhinitis with polyps (approx 60% with this also develop asthma). Also I have family history - my

Are cleaning products, aerosols etc worsening my asthma?

Hi all,I'm on day 4 of prednisolone and antibiotics for a particularly nasty chest infection, (GP said sending me to hospital was borderline). 2nd course of pred this year and it's only May. Unusual for me as I often don't need any, or only one short blast, of pred in a year. My asthma generally has

Fostair inhaler

Had my asthma review at my GP surgery today and apparently my asthma is poorly controlled which I knew anyway so she wants to consider changing my steroid inhaler to Fostair. I'm already on Flutiform 250/10 as well as Spiriva which I know isn't a steroid. What's the difference between the two and is

Hello, Has anyone been prescribed Decapeptyl or similar drug to shut down the ovaries for their asthma? I’ve recently been prescribed this and feeling a bit alone in it!
