Hi Sassy ,strange really ,when my niece mentioned montilucast ,I though I've heard that name before ,I suffer with chronic urticaria (hives)my skin specialist has tried different meds that only help a bit ,I was sure he mentioned montilucast for urticaria ,I was right he did ,I have appointment with him tomorrow, and I must bring this medication up with him ,wouldn't it be great if it worked on both x

Yes, I stopped it for a few months on the advice of respiratory nurses but started it again as I am definitely better with it. I have severe emphysema.

Good luck Alice, I haven't had any side effects except maybe some very vivid dreams - not nightmares though - so no problem. 😄

morning,I take it for asthma, and so did my daughter when she was young .The thing to look out for are the side effects which are many and quite frightening .Fortunately i have not had any but i was anxious for awhile taking it in early days ,its more for exercise induced asthma good luck x
