Flixotide causing anxiety?
I’ ve recently been posting on the thyroid forum. I ve had recent symptoms of an exaggerated response to normal stress, which has made me very ill. I have ME and basically this was very bad along with a racing heart. Over the last 18 months I’ve had circadian rhythm problems along with high blood pressure

Asthma Appointment
So I went to see the nurse at my practice today because my asthma has flared up and although my chest is clear she's told me to finish my course of steroids because my peak flow is low (270 usually 450) and I'm tight chested and a little breathless and she's changed my steroid inhaler from Flutiform

Just needing a vent
I am feeling really fed up right now. I got diagnosed about 2 weeks ago with pots and then 2 days later was in hospital with kidney stones. Got released just on time to make a family trip to London so had lots of painkillers to get through it but still managed to enjoy it. I came home and went to gp

Asthma Flare Up and Hoarse/Sore Throat (Post Covid)
Hi everyone, I've just joined the forum. I was diagnosed with Asthma when I was a Child. I had to use inhalers throughout school but seemed to grow out of it in my late teens. I didn't need to use an inhaler in 15+ years. Around 18 months ago I caught Covid twice, my chest wasn't too bad while i was

Advice on Relvar Ellipta 92/22
Hi, I am a newly diagnosed asthma patient, using a dry powder inhaler for the first in my life aged 76. I am experiencing a very runny nose & sinusitis. My question is will these symptoms subside over time - only been using Relvar Ellipta for 25 days. I am rinsing my mouth immediately after inhaling.

Chest Clinic
My GP/ Asthma Nurse has referred me to the Chest Clinic at the hospital because my scores at my last asthma check-up were pretty low, and I've got my appointment on Wednesday, but I'm not sure what I should mention. I get frequent flare-ups and chest infections- flare-ups probably between every 4-6 weeks

Tinnitus and high dose inhaled steroids
Does anyone know of research into high dose inhaled steroids and tinnitus. I have heard anecdotal evidence from people with asthma, but haven’t found anything online. I’d be interested because my tinnitus came on very suddenly and coincided with a change to higher dose steroid inhaler. Thank you!

The dreaded Bisoprolol strikes again
Hi all, in a week or so I am going to be writing a saga but I’m saving it. In the meantime, just need your reactions to this. I went to my GP with a bowel problem combined with AF, certain they were linked and mentioned a couple of ‘elephant sat on my chest’ episodes, feeling they were probably linked

Horrid painful cough , no voice and chest pains
I started with a sore throat Wednesday night , I now can’t speak , just about a whisper . Overnight I didn’t feel too good , woke around 4am as I was coughing which caused a bad central chest pain that also radiated left and right . The left sided pain was very sharp and I used my inhaler to see if

Trelegy
hello , My GP is changing my preventer inhaler to Trelegy. Does anyone use this? I am rather concerned but my doctor thinks i will benefit from a steroid inhaler now rather than taking prednisolone when i have flare ups.

Bizarre Diagnosis
So, I got the HRCT results back and no bronchiectasis - yey! But I got a really weird letter from the Consultant saying that the diagnosis is therefore chronic bronchitis, which she never mentioned in her chat with me. I looked it up and chronic bronchitis is a form of COPD. Except... I only have one

Hi, has anyone tried the above injections. I have been approved for this as I have allergic asthma and EILO. I'm currently permanently on Prednisone as inhalers do not work for me and hoping with these injections to be able at some point come off Prednisone. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated
