Allegra for asthma?
I have recently moved from the UK to Germany/Switzerland; the halthcare is in Germany. Getting Xolair, anti-IL5 mAbs, prednisone, inhalers and other drugs was super-easy. But I still get very chest-tight due to the high pollen counts. I believe here the pollen-triggered asthma is worse, b.c. of the warmer

People without asthma carrying ventolin
I recently read some threads about people keeping ventolin medication with them not because because they have asthma but because they feel they are at risk of developing asthma due to nasal conditions like rhinitis with polyps The thing is looking at the population about 40 percent of people have hay

Fostair 200
Does anyone else use Fostair 200 and suffered these side effects - skin atrophy and continuous chest infections? If they have, did they get this inhaler changed to a nonsteroidal inhaler? If this happened which treatment was it changed to. I have COPD and asthma.

Lung symptoms vs eye and nose symptoms
To those who are on "systemic" drugs for allergic asthma, what do you notice in terms of control of your lung symptoms vs control of allergic symptoms in the eyes and the nose? Do the systemic drugs resolve the lungs, nose, and eye symptoms altogether, or do the drugs only work for some, but not for

Enerzair Inhaler
Has anyone come across this inhaler? I’ve gone from Fostair to Relvar and now to this. Haven’t started it yet but does this suggest I’m now on triple therapy? It’s a bit disconcerting to be on what appears to be a pretty strong inhaler a year into chronic bronchitis. I feel it leaves little room to up

achey chest - is it because of bronchiectasis?
hope everyone is having a lovely weekend. I have achey ribs, they have ached on and off for years but are quite sore this weekend mainly on my left but a bit on right too. In the past GPs have blamed pulling muscles coughing, bronchial spasm (is that even a thing?) and asthma generally. It’s not a

Newly diagnosed GPA without renal involvement. Sorry it’s long.
In March I went to a new rheumatologist at a world famous teaching hospital. He is co-director of the vasculitis program and quite expert. It took persistence to get an appointment. My previous rheumatologist diagnosed me with Polymyalgia Rheumatica in 2016. She ordered an ANCA blood test in 2017 because

Trial of Montelukast
I am currently on Fostair inhaler for adult asthma that has laid dormant for years since childhood. I have suffering terribly for a long time with constant phlegm , having to clear my throat, coughing and affecting my sleep in as much as choking. It’s embarrassing at work and also home life. Thought

fostair NextInhaler
I was offered Forstair as a replacement to my old inhalers as had a bad asthma attack bought on by a chest infection. I was told to take 2 doses twice a day. Within a day of taking it my hands started shaking, I suffered extreme anxiety. I then read the side effects on this forum and realised it was

Inhalers and tinnitus
Hello! For the past two months I've been taking Fostair 100/6 and now Q-var 100. I've noticed that both drugs, for me at least, lead to bad tinnitus. I've recently got some Alvesco 160 which I'm looking to start soon in the hopes that it won't have this side effect. However, I'm wondering if maybe

Thanks everyone for your replies. At the moment l am on Fostair 200/6 and have Salamol for my reliever. My breathlessness has gotten worse in the last few months and am wondering if it is worth speaking to my consultant about a change.
