Week 2 Completed
Week 2 run 3 completed really happy with it, although I did need to take my inhaler halfway through today probably because of the wind (not mine š), and it wasnāt raining as forecast. Looking forward to week 3.

Why is my breathing suddenly so bad?
I have had asthma for years but although I admit I generally haven't taken my preventer regularly I have felt very comfortable. Suddenly my symptoms have become severe. No cough, just tight and unable to breathe easily. When it first started it was terrifying as my chest, diaphragm and ribs felt exhausted

Hello, Iāve just joined and am pleasantly surprised how kind, positive and helpful the posts are. Iāve COPD and since February 2020 have benefitted from an inhaler. Usually active and healthy but was worrying about a future with COPD. Reading such encouraging comments I feel more positive and optimistic

Life after COVID-19 Pneumonia
My family and I all contracted COVID in December, and as much as I tried to care for my Mum at home, come the critical āDay 10ā her oxygen levels had dropped and she was hospitalised a week before Christmas. I will forever be grateful the hospital saved her life, and we got her home twelve days later

I'm really upset at the changes regarding Asthma & Group 6. Have Gov\their advisors just realised how many people with Asthma there are & panicked their vaccination figures are going to decrease, so we're kicked out the group & told it's OK, probably won't die. Even though we've been told the opposite

Constant throat clearing issues
O K this by way of an update. I have been trying to stick with the asthma inhaler for my chronic throat clearing, but in all honesty I think it is making it worse, Looked up and read this today on an ashtma website. :- Can steroid inhalers cause throat problems? It has long been known that one

Sore upper chest
Hi. Wondering if anyone else has had anything similar. My upper chest feels really sore and has for about two weeks. I finished steroids last week as my pf dropped to 500 (usually 650). I have moved house and lots of dust as Iām am waiting for my flooring to be laid. My peak flow is now about 550.

Mild COPD, Mild Asthma - should I be in next round of vaccinations?
I have mild COPD and mild asthma, controlled with a brown inhaler and blue one when I exercise/run. Have been trying to speak to my GP surgery to find out if I will be classed as vulnerable (so be in the next round of vaccinations) just can't get through to them, last time I called they said I wasn't

Anyone had an asthma attack made worse by using Salbutamol?
Hi all. Does Salbutamol usually cause faster breathing, or other side effects after taking 6 - 10 puffs within 15 minutes due to an Asthma attack? I have had an attack which wasnāt relieving after my usual 2 sets of 2 puffs over 10 minutes. So I started to have 1 puff every few minutes. However by

Advice for a cortisol newbie please!
Hello gang, Hope youāre all keeping safe, well and sane! I was hoping to enlist your help with my recent cortisol results from Regenerus, particularly re: next steps as this is where my knowledge falls down. Hopefully the attached results are legible but I can always type out if needs be. My general

Hormones and asthma
I've had a few months of fluctuating asthma symptoms where it would be okay for a couple of weeks and then really bad (mainly with the cough). My preventer inhaler has been changed 3 times and I've been on montelukast for just over a month but it's made no difference and I couldn't identify anything

Covid vaccine reaction
My wife had the vaccine yesterday. We were surprised she got called as she doesn't meet the criteria for severe asthma or been diagnosed with severe asthma so surprised she got called in group 4. Both her and I have been to hospital and been on 1 course of steroids and diagnosed with two weeks of her

Are you folks getting to see your asthma nurse ?
Hello , I had an annual telephone consultation last year. With the lockdown I realised I wasn't going to be seen . This year I have not bothered my gp at all but I did fill out an online request because the cold weather has meant I've used up both of my emergency inhalers. Got ignored , then I

Eosinophil Asthma
At 17 my daughter had a number of chest infections and hospital admissions. Over a period of around a year she was diagnosed with eosinophil asthma and has had one of the highest feno counts the consultant has seen. She has been on steriods now for 2 years ( between 40mg and 20 mg) and every inhaler
