Any advice on 'Freeze All' cycles?
Hello. We had our nurse planning appointment last week and they said because I have very high chance of OHSS (high AMH and AFC), they would probably recommend a freeze all cycle. Has anyone had experience of this? How long do you wait between collection and frozen transfer? Thank you.

Fresh v frozen
After a failed first cycle, we are discussing options for the second. We have 5 embryos on ice. We get 3 rounds on the NHS and have just been informed we can have a fresh cycle if we want. Previously I was told we had to use our frozen embryos. The hfea stats show for women under 35 a higher chance

Hi guys, how are you all? I hope not too bad. I have been extremely tired and my fingers and toes have got much worse lately, so I'm actually struggling typing right now.. I would like to try to minimize my typing but it's actually really difficult because of computer and phone use daily! :o How do you

Hello everyone, I am looking for London based IVF clinics that specialise in diminshed ovarian reserve. My husband and I are about to start our 1 and only nhs funded round next week and I want to be prepared to move quickly if it doesn't work. I'm 33 and my amh is 4.2, I also have endo. Much love

Hsg test
So finally I got sense out my GP surgery who have agreed to refer me for this test (long story but I had a battle on my hands). No guarantees they will agree to investigations though. I've requested the test as I'm nearly 39 and not once been pregnant. Prior to my OH's vasectomy he fathered two children

Anyone been refused private IVF?
My partner and I had a consultation a week ago with a private IVF clinic in London. They have said they will not treat us based on the fact I do not wish to have PGS (genetic testing) done on any possible embryos. I am 42 and have had 3 missed miscarriages in the last year (no children). But have an

Unexpected info at follow up appointment
So I have been off the forum for a couple if weeks after our first cycle failed, its been tougher than i imagined. Our issues were male factor after hubbys VR. We had 16 eggs, 8 fertilised and 1 early blast transferred. I have spent weeks lecturing the OH about diet, ordered him new suppliments to improve

AMH has increased - I didn’t know that was possible!
Hi Fellow IVF warriors 💪🌈🍍 We are currently in the process of changing clinics after our NHS funding ran out so we are starting the process again with another clinic privately. I had my AMH retested a week ago and was told it is 11.6 and is in the normal range for my age. I had it first tested in

Stories of hope please... 2nd cycle
So my first cycle failed (as I've mentioned a billion times 🙈) and I'm currently on cycle 2 - norethisterone for 9 days. No good reason why the first cycle failed. Excellent amh, good quality embryos, thawed perfectly... However I can't help feel that cycle 2 will also fail and that there's something

Short protocol for second round of IVF after poor response. Anyone had similar experience?
My husband and I had our first round of IVF (long protocol) June 2019 and I unexpectedly did not respond to the stimulation drugs. Our infertility is unexplained and our consultant did not expect such a poor response from our test results which were all within normal range, although my AMH is at the

Are supplements worth it?
So cycle 1 I got 18 eggs on long protocol. 16 mature, 13 of which fertilised (good fertilisation rate) but only 3 made it to day 5. I was only taking folic acid first round and developed OHSS. I finally got to fet which failed with a 1x4AB. I was and still am devastated. I have high amh 45.2 at age 38

Pregnant after recurrent miscarriage and feeling scared/anxious
Hi everyone, it's been a while since I posted after my last miscarriage ( the third one) in January. I found out today that I'm pregnant. I've spent the last few months taking everyone advice from here - I've had private tests done and as well as APS I have high NK cells but have a treatment plan in

Migraine with Aura
When I first started suffering from migraines in 97 I often had migraines with aura and spent many a lesson in the first aid room waiting for the aura to pass. Once I hit puberty the aura part of the migraine tailed off and apart from one odd attack I have not suffered with migraine aura for 15 years

Our 1 embryo didn’t make it to day 5 😢
Feels like a total waste. All that time, energy and money for single egg that didn’t make it. Exactly the same protocol as 3.5years ago. Differences are low AMH now, on DHEA & thyroxine, and had to take antibiotics during cycle for cystitis. Consultant assured us none of these should have made that

Petition to teach epilepsy in PSHE lessons in schools
As of 2020 First Aid will be taught in schools, that’s in PSHE lessons. They will learn about seizures and the recovery position as part of First Aid, BUT they won’t be taught anything specifically about epilepsy! It’s time we taught school children what epilepsy actually is, what causes it, who can
