Very low amh, second round IVF, egg collection booked Friday
!! Four good sized follicles, and praying they have good quality eggs for Friday. 🙏🏼 After my last cycle was cancelled to poor quality eggs and high progesterone I’m super nervous about Friday. But I keep reminding myself it only takes one egg! Sending love and light to you everyone on their journey

Fertility advise for low egg reserve and low AMH,
Hello, I’m new here and have been reading posts which really helped to hear about others in my situation. I’m 34 in April and had some fertility tests done last week as I’m slightly older than I wanted to be to have a baby and just wanted peace of mind everything was ok. Naively I thought everything

WTF consultation tomorrow after 3 failed transfers, any suggestions on what to ask or suggest for next steps?
Hi All I have my follow up consultation tomorrow after another failed transfer. This time it was a natural FET (my first ever frozen) with endo scratch and glue. Grade was a 5BB. I previously had two fresh transfers after two back to back ICSI egg collection cycles. Grade was a 5BC on one of them

Second round IVF worse than first - any idea why?
Hello all Having a bit of an emotional breakdown today after a disappointing second round of IVF. I was wondering whether anyone else has had a second round be much worse than their first and whether there is any reason for this or it is just bad luck? I had my first round of IVF in November (lucky to

Low AMH, no viable embryos after PGS
Hello, I am 38 and have low AMH. Had my egg retrieval on 11th Jan. Ended up with 3 blasts after 5 days which we were delighted with. The clinic told us that they looked good. Just had the results of the PGS testing today and they are all chromosome abnormal. I’m devastated. Just feel so down. My husband

AMH & Biotin
Evening all, hope you are well. I’m going for an internal scan and amh blood test tomorrow before our initial consultation at a clinic to hopefully start our journey to baby. I’ve panicked a bit tonight because I take supplements for my thyroid condition and one contains biotin. I know when I have my

BFN 😔 & getting ready for donation
Hi. There is not much to say...obviously, in my case insomnia and sweating in the night was not a good sign. In previous cycle it was also the same. Till some point, sore boobs, bloated tummy, fatigue, feeling sleepy until 6-7dpt...and all of a sudden all symptoms gone, and getting heavy difficulties

Is fertilisation rate an indicator of quality?
Hi all, I had egg collection yesterday on our second round of IVF, with low AMH, we got 4 eggs, which we were delighted with, and heard this morning that all 4 fertilised! On our first round, 2 out of our 3 eggs fertilised and went on to be poor quality embryos transferred at D3, neither of which took

PD, Stroke Prevention and Recovery With Melatonin
As though dealing with PD isn't bad enough, PwP are thought to have an increased risk for stroke and a poorer outcome than non PwP, according to the following article : https://academic.oup.com/qjmed/article-abstract/112/4/269/5284930 Previously I've written about some of the health benefits

I have recently been diagnosed with hypothyroidism - this came to light as I had been trying to conceive for a year with no luck so went to a fertility clinic who run some tests. Letrozole cycle
Hi 🙋♀️ I’m on day 9 of a letrozole cycle. I’m a nurse and managed to have an extra scan done yesterday at work. Official scan tomorrow at fertility clinic. There were three follicles growing one at 15mm, 13mm and 10mm, this was day 8. How many dominant follicles did people get on their letrozole cycles
