Phone the hospital and get a message to consultant - even if secretary not there consultant or another doctor should heed message. Blood in your stool indicates internal bleeding somewhere in digestive tract as I said to you a couple of days ago on AIH page. Were you not at your hospital today for scan?

Your GP should be more proactive than this - a patient with known cirrhosis with blood in stool - he should be sending you to hospital for checks. Liver nurse also should be more proactive on this as it could be early signs of something like a variceal bleed which I discussed with you on F/book page.

They just dont seem worried they even have oics to show the blood im hoping wen sec is bk 2mrw i can discuss with her and praying nothing drastic happen b4 then only other thing im a bit dizzy gp gave me travel sickness pills for that.. I feel like they ate fed me with me ringing or messaging xx
If you've still got blood in your poo and now you are feeling dizzy the two could be tied in. To be honest I wouldn't be messing about, I can't believe you are being so fobbed off - blood in poo is a sign of something going on internally. My hubby (as I said on facebook) page was seeing blood in poo for weeks before his body could no longer cope with the amount he was bleeding and he started vomiting blood. You could currently be bleeding from varices - i'd be bypassing the lot of them and going to A&E.
I mentioned your situation to hubby this morning and he said if he knew now what he knew then about the blood in his poo (which he'd ignored) he never would again ignore it. Sometimes you've got to be the proactive one, it's your health and life after all.
