Undiagnosed liver problem

Hi there, curious if anyone has had anything similar. 10 months ago my alt ast was about 600 with bilirubin around 6. The only reason why I went to Dr was I got jaundice and they found the high liver test. I am otherwise healthy with no pain etc. Today 10 months later they still don't have a cause. ALT AST has returned to near normal (actually was normal but last test went to 64). My liver has nodules on it seen in MRI. Biopsy didn't determine anything. Not cancer. Not HEP A,B,C. I tested boarder line for Hep E at 8 months but now is negative. PT is normal. Tested negative for hemochromatosis and wilson's disease. One dr thought is AIH but others do not agree. Also some speculate budd chairi but no clots show on MRI.

Thanks for any input!

Hi,

Its positive that you are having lots of investigations to try to determine what is going on. Hopefully you can meet with your liver team and discuss matters again soon?

Best wishes.
