Skin Tag / Polyp Removal - Eggs Collected Today

Hi

I had my eggs collected today. Feeling a bit tender!

I’m 40 with 7.7 AMH and they collected 7 eggs so I am happy with that.

They wanted to check a skin tag and today referred me to have it removed. (My embryos will be frozen) Waiting on updates to know grade & how many with be frozen.

Question is. Has anyone else had their skin tag removed and following this how long until FT?

Hi there! I had a polyp removed by the doctor at the same time as egg retrieval, and it was partly on this basis they decided I shouldn't have a fresh transfer that time around. (I think they wanted the womb to heal first and also to get the lab results to check the polyp was benign.)

Thank you for your reply. Whilst it’s going to delay things it’s best to have it removed. I’m just unsure how long it can take to heal before FET. Think I’ll call the clinic and ask them tomorrow and hope the hospital contact me soon with a date x

As long as it's small, they heal super quickly! I've had two polyps removed over the years and both healed (you know because you stop bleeding) in about a week. But, yes, do chat with your clinic! xx

Yes, it's so confusing when they try to tell you stuff post ER when you're out of it! xxx
