Contacts lenses/eye drops instead of injections
Hi there just thought just in case you don't know that much research is happening at the moment about how different methods can be used to give drugs that need to be absorbed in the eye such as lucentis, avasrin and eylea instead of using an injection .Research into using contact lenses and or eye drops

Cataract surgery and Apixiban
I am due to undertake surgery to remove a Cataract on my right eye. I have persistent AF and take Apixiban and 1.25 Bisoprolol. When I discussed this with the surgeons team they seemed a little unsure if or even when I should stop taking the Apixiban before surgery. Eventually the told me to stop taking

steroid induced cateract
A poster asked on here a while back if steroids/ injections caused cataracts. I had about 5 steroid injections, then developed a cataract. My eye doc told me I had a steroid induced cataract. My Rheumatology doc told me that was rubbish. Today I have again been offered steroid injection for pain etc.

Zinc carnosine & thyroid function
Hi I am still suffering with stomach acid problems related to prescription NSAID use (without being given a stomach protector) post surgery 2 years ago. I have been managing with DGL liquorice supplements / Apple cider vinegar / sauerkraut / but it is gathering momentum again and making eating tricky

Liver pain. How long to repair? Am I doing it right? Feeling frustrated and on my own with it.
After a bit of a bad phase and far too many binge drinking sessions, I woke one morning with horrendous pain in my right side and a swollen/rock hard liver. Docs ran Liver function, test Gamma GT raised (80) but not severely high but higher than it should be, my doctor was unalarmed but sent for ultrasound

Has anyone had Rituximab for GPA and Denosumab for osterpororis ? What I want to know is are they compatible ? Has anyone experienced side effects? I am so unsure about putting more drugs into my body but I know I need to have the Denosumab as I'm at a high risk for osterpororis Any suggestions ?!

Dobutamine stress echocardiogram
Hi. I am due for this procedure on Tuesday 27thOct. I am scared because Dobutamine will make my heart beat faster and my pacemaker is set 130bpm highest. No Bisoprolol for 48 hours before test. I would appreciate info from anyone who knows/has had this procedure. Thanks

Lutein/Beta Carotene
I've just been researching Marshalllow Root (which is supposed to be good for inflammation) and read that people with Hashis should avoid Lutein and Beta Carotene, but I can't seem to find out why. Can anyone help please?

Effects of anesesthia?
Hi all, just wondering if anyone can enlighten me on the effects of anesthesia on B12. I recall reading somewhere that it can completely wipe it out from your body. I'm due to have a hole in the heart repaired , and have only just got myself on an even keel after many B12 injections in the past year,
