Armpits? Yeah, armpits.
18 months
ADT
and my armpit hair has slowly, but finally, gone 😫.True, it's not a dramatic loss compared to the sacred memory of a hard erection! But a symptom is a symptom, and they all seem to have complications.

Back on ADT
Its getting harder to see my MO these days and the last 2 visits were with a very pretty NP with grey, blue eyes (all I could see over the mask) That novelty wore off (thanks
ADT
) pretty quick so waiting 2 months until the next visit.

Intermediate favorable vs. unfavorable Gleason 7 acc.to 2 doctors + CLEAN PSMA, do we need third opinion +where? (Green Bay/Milwaukee areas)
You should know my husband is opposed to doing a radical prostatectomy and is pretty dead-set against
ADT
so when the cancer is treated we are leaning towards brachytherapy.

PALB2 genetic defect-Lynparza
Just completed six cycles of Taxotere as part of triple therapy (chemo, Nubeqa and
ADT
) for about 20 Mets (PSMA scan) mostly skeletal (no organs). Only four Mets still lit up on PSMA scan after four cycles of chemo/Lupron/Nubeqa. Next PSMA scan in Jan. 2024.

QOL Post- Thank you KALIBER!
I was chatting with Kali several months ago after I was considering selling the scooter, fearing the loss of strength due to
ADT
would be an issue picking this 800+ lb machine back up if I ever lost my footing at a stoplight or something... I bought this brand new in 1982 when I was 27 yrs old.

Thanks and lessons learned
As I complete my course of definitive treatment (MRI guided SBRT and short course
ADT
) and look forward to positive results, I want to give thanks to the people who have helped me along the way (especially my fellow prostate cancer patients here at HealthUnlocked) and offer some lessons I've learned.

Follow up at Duke !!
He confirmed that PSMA PET is now SOC and would have been indicated prior to
ADT
. Also referenced the STAMPEDE info and affirmed that zytiga in addition to
ADT
is recommended. We were only started on
ADT
one year ago.

Decision Time Very Soon
ADT
& 6 rounds chemo brought PSA to 0.48 in Jan. 2023 & then started creeping up. In June, went over 2 & MO felt was castrate resistant. Stopped abi. and started Keytruda (I am MSI- high, high TMB, MMR gene deficient) near end of June.

Right Bundle Branch Block(RBBB)
My research shows that Eligard/
ADT
can be a possible cause. Is anyone else dealing with this? I have an Echocardiogram set for this coming Tuesday. I wonder if this could be a cause for my feeling dizzy and weak at times as well as my endurance seems shot to h***.

Daily Cialis?
I have castrate-resistant MPC, on
ADT
for over 4 years and currently on chemo. My urologist and MO recommended I take 5mg Cialis daily to keep the blood flowing down there and prevent atrophy. I hate to take another drug, but will if it is beneficial.

PSA rise but scans are clear. Appetite and activity level are 0
I have spoken on here a few times about my dad who is on Erleada +
ADT
but it has failed. They have done quite a few scans recently because he is in significant pain. But all scans have come back “clear” in that there is no significant change in metastasis etc.

Should I fight for Darolutamide ?
I will start
ADT
again, this time with a 2nd generation added. I will restart Zoladex, and MO is adding Enzalutamide this time. My main concern is about cognitive SEs, since I work full time as a Software Enginner, my job depends of my brain.

Newly diagnosed with N1M1a
My father is given the option to start Casodex for 1.5 weeks before
ADT
or start
ADT
directly. Do folks think Casodex is worth to take while waiting to get 2nd opinions? Thanks a lot!
