Worrying study on long-term ADT (esp Enza)
Is this NED affect of long-term
ADT
common knowledge? If so, is it particular to Enza? 2. Has anyone ever just stopped
ADT
and, if so, what was the impact on their PSA? 3. Does anyone have any alternatives to Enza (I was already coming off it because of the horrible, exhausting SEs)?

Extreme sweats will they diminish; Zitiga is it worth it
I did not want and have had no surgery, no radiation and no treatment until starting
ADT
July, 2023. March of this year, I was hospitalized for what turned out to be kidney failure do to urine backing up into the kidneys.

How much exercise needed?
My leg muscles hurt all the time though; I don’t know if the
ADT
makes recovery from exercise longer. So I’m actually thinking of scaling back exercise even though I fear that the amount I’m doing might already be insufficient. I’m 72 years old. interested in any advice or insights. Thanks.

Prednisone side effects
Never had high blood pressure prior to this
ADT
treatment. Was warned that high BP was one of the primary side effects of my treatment plan. Pretty quickly, I developed elevated BP and I am on 50mg of Losartan daily. 25mg wasn't enough.

Tip about antihistamines
The point of posting this on an APC forum is that I also think that
ADT
and being low on T makes one even more sensitive to antihistamine cravings. Awareness of the interaction is half the battle.

New hot flash drug approved
I would expect it to work on men taking
ADT
too, although it has not been proven. I hope that Medicare/Insurance will cover it in men. https://www.fda.gov/news-events/press-announcements/fda-approves-novel-drug-treat-moderate-severe-hot-flashes-caused-menopause

qol - Erectile Dysfunction Got You Down?
One thing that
ADT
has done for me, I’m not worried about dying. In fact, I can’t wait to be stiff again 8. What’s the difference between by penis and my jokes? Nobody laughs at my jokes

Xgeva side effects?????
I started
ADT
a little over a year ago. I'm on Trelstar and my PSA is < 0.04. In March of this year I started taking Erleada. The side effects from both drugs have been minimal, some hot flashes and fatigue. Two months ago my doctor started me on Xgeva.

Do I need SRT, HT and/or

ADT Recommendations
I'm probably looking at starting salvage radiation soon with 4-6 months of
ADT
. The doc suggests starting with Casodex and then two sequential Lupron shots. Is there a better way to do
ADT
for that period?

Timing of Dexamethasone
I've been on
ADT
since 2017 and approximately 3 years ago I switched from prednisone to .5mg dexamethasone daily with morning meal. I have been having periods of infrequent lightheadedness. I have been through a series of tests and my pcp cannot determine the source.

Prostatectomy 2012, Oligometastatic 2021. Metabolic approach ,no ADT, no chemo. Interested in Lutetium 177, Dr. Kwon Mayo patient
However, I did my homework on the many ramifications of
ADT
, especially with a low PSA, and chose to approach the cancer metabolically, even though my doubling time was under 3 months.

... what, then, do we die of?
imo} For those unfortunate to have metastatic disease treated with
ADT
, Metformin is even more important, since
ADT
increases Metabolic Syndrome risk factors. But wait a moment, if we successfully reduce CVD & PCa mortality risk - what then will we die of?

Now Undetectable PSA on BAT Regimen
I have been on long-cycle modified BAT for 2.5 years now. 3 months of very high testosterone (400mg T-cypionate every 2 weeks), then one month of
ADT
using Orgovyx. My PSA has continued to decline on this regimen. It was down by 90% in January 2023 to 0.030. Now it has become undetectable <0.015.
