Greetings!
Lastly, not only I have anxiety, I also have a shopping
addiction
. Anytime I feel down, sad, depressed, I would spend hundreds of dollars online shopping. I think, subconsciously, since I give my mom money, I am going to spend it on myself, since it’s my money. Any advice?

Prescribed Zopiclone 7.5mg after giving up cannabis addiction for 15 years experiencing extreme insomnia and withdrawal symptoms.
I was prescribed this Zopiclone 7.5mg few days ago due to me suffering with severe insomnia/withdrawal symptoms from giving up smoking cannabis in 15 years. The first night I took these the longest I could sleep was 5hours then I woke up and was drifting in and out of sleep for the next 3-4 hours after

But now I find it to be like an
addiction
. I've missed it, and cold turkey is no fun. Roll on tomorrow when I can get into my Brooks, put on my running gear and finally get out there and do it. If you're in the early stages of this program, be warned.

Fitness Addiction
I came across this video and I thought it might be worth sharing: https://www.bbc.com/reel/video/p07ztmfk/is-instagram-fueling-a-fitness-
addiction
- I've recently been learning about the new (non) diet fad, intuitive eating.

Buprenophine success!
It appears to have a lot less
addiction
and tolerance issues compared to oxycondon and morphine. Here is a link to that webinar: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iCNI_UCj7SI&app=desktop To give you a bit of a background, I was taking Kratom for many years, which worked fantastically at first.

Ever tried a Haiku?
She was writing from her sudden reflection on how she had, unwittingly, let Corporate life, and her '
addiction
' to it, 'steal' ten years. (Similar to how I feel about FM, and the pain that came back today. So, it's no wonder I went to find her words). I welcome the tears her words bring me.

Buprenorphine (sp?)
This is a paper on the use of Buprenorphine in older people rather than Oxycontin ( as some of us are) it talks about
addiction
-- but I prefer to see it as dependency!😩😎 May be worth talking to your pain manager about it? https://www.medscape.com/viewarticle/923754 Cheers.

Parkrun fun
It’s such an amazing programme that’s helped me join the parkrun
addiction
. We’ve been away in London this week and I’ve not run since last weeks PR,so didn’t really want to get out of bed! Anyhow I went and felt so heavy and tired and actually had to walk a few paces just before the finish.

How to cope with feelings of being killed by diseases?
The doctor did not prescribe me with any medication for my anxiety because she said i'm still young and the medication might create an
addiction
. I am coping with my anxiety on my own and finding out ways to deal with it.

Accelerated speed of discovery could lead to more effective smoking cessation aids.

Don't worry
Quitting ain't easy but always remember the reasons you wanted to in the first place.Family and finances are important but ultimately beating any
addiction
especially one that's seriously damaging your health is one of the most rewarding things you'll ever do.In no time you'll be saying no thanks I don't

Need for direct heat
At time’s when I’m especially not good, it can be almost like a craving/
addiction
. Sometimes it’s because if I have this” inner” cold feeling and I have to get into a hot sweat to stabilise. Sometimes it’s like it helps to relax me and is soothing.

Choices choices
Being depressed and having an
addiction
is leathal. But remeber that we always have a choice and we are never alone. Someone somewhere in this universe is feeling the same way.

Share your quitting success stories: What helped you quit smoking?
Truthfully, creating a lasting change in life is tough enough (for me at least) without the added burden of nicotine
addiction
making it even harder. That said, it is NEVER too late to quit and it IS absolutely worth the effort.
