The problem I feel you have is you have gone through the basic tranche of medications. The problem is if you do not give any time for any drug too work.

I have been on various medications and the drug I take been on it now for over ten years, the drug a common one and works well, at sixty nine I will be put on a reduced dose for the rest of my life

Medications can take upwards of six weeks to work, it is important you give your medications time to work. In my case these medications , yes are habit forming although over time they can be withdrawn over time.

How many medications have you tried over the given time ?

Yes it sounds like you have done the rounds, I would imagine your Health Professional has been running out of ideas, the problem Here is they never go back to medications you have tried. You are following a worn path of not knowing what to try next.

When you keep changing medications generally you are not giving any of them time to work. We sometimes need to take some amount of discomfort in the early stages. when trying new medications

Six weeks is the time recommended for the drug to get in your system and begin to work. In fact it could take slightly longer before you get benefit.

However we bow to your Health Professionals understanding of your needs.

Try not to be in such a hurry to change medications. There is no quick fix here and if you push to change it may be part of your Depression or Anxiety causing a

The push of change. Remember you are in partnership with your GP as far as your health and treatment are concerned
