my LAD is 90% blocked. They’re unable to stent. After a stress test in an MRI a member of my consultants team phoned. He asked if I had any symptoms, I said no. He asked if I was still taking all the medications after a stent was put in another artery. I said I was. He asked how I felt about that? I

So I’ve had restless legs syndrome for over 25 years and I had been on ropinirole at least that long. I was up to 3 mg an evening on the ropinerol and it was getting worse. when I was able to meet with a doctor here in California who is very familiar with restless leg syndrome.. I am now on oxycodone

Got the Second Opinion
And I am SO glad I did! In a prior post, I had told about events leading up to a cardiologist getting snippy with me because I questioned the need for an ablation. The more research I did the more convinced I became that my gut feeling was right and I set up an appt. with a different doctor. Monday

tight proximal disease
Hi
I’ve just had a letter detailing the results of my angiogram and confused with the terminology.
Can anyone explain the term ‘tight’ as in tight proximal disease. I have had two stents fitted 17 years ago and this appears to be following the area of one of the stent s in the LAD

Oesophageal stent
Hi My mum has just has a stent fitted, it’s been 8 days now and she has terrible pains and nausea so bad that she can’t eat, she had to be admitted to hospital for an IV. She is back home now but is still suffering from the same conditions, I was wondering if anybody had any advise or has had this treatment

Advice please - Lyrica
For the last year or so I have been taking sinemet which usually relieved the RLS symptoms and enabled me to relax in the evening and sleep reasonably well. The inevitable augmentation occurred about a month ago and I have since stopped all but 1 cr25/100 an hour before bedtime. Recent evenings I spent

Have you had an endoscopic ultrasound-guided biliary drainage? Request for help from National Institute of Clinical Excellence (NICE)
Bile is a fluid produced by the liver and stored in the gall bladder that aids in the digestion of fats. Biliary obstruction is when the channels carrying bile from the liver and gall bladder into the small intestine (bile ducts) become blocked, and is most commonly caused by tumours or gallstones. This

Anxiety Struggle
Good morning, well here goes another day. As soon as I wake up I think I can hear my heart pounding and just seem anxious all day. I was taken off Citalopram back in March following a heart event (not a heart attack but diagnosed with CAD with a narrowing in my LAD, no stent needed at the moment). I

Bronchitis, hospitalization and pancytopenia
hi everyone, I am currently on peg 45mcg/week and somehow got a nasty bronchitis that I was unable to shake. I was sent by my GP to the hospital ER to receive IV antibiotics and they decided to admit me because of my past history of having a heart attack and current stent (that’s another story). While

sore feet possible peripheral neuropathy.
just seen the rheumatologist who very kindly fitted me in this week. Now getting tested for peripheral neuropathy. She thinks it most likely. Various drugs have been mentioned. Going forward anyone had any issues with medications for this? I'm only on hydroxy and pilocarpine at the moment. Luckily

pramipexole and nasal congestion.
Hi everyone, I’ve just joined this group hoping for support I was a member years ago but lost touch unfortunately. I’ve had RLS for around 12 years and i class it as moderate- severe. I’m on Pramipexole (after being on Neupro patch for ten years though I tried many medications to even get there) .

High HCG at 4 weeks (11dp5dt)... cause for concern?
Hey I wish I could just enjoy this moment but Doctor Google has terrified me again! Had my first HCG test at 9dp5dt and was delighted with 301 (especially after our chemical earlier this year ). Today's has come back as 816 so has more than doubled in 48 hours and seems very high for 4 weeks when

Diagnosed with RLS but not so sure, does it sound like I have it?
My Doctor has diagnosed me with RLS and said I need to start taking some medication called ropinirole. My symptoms are: for the last 4 months or so, when I sit in an armchair (usually with may legs folded and at my side) my buttock muscles keep tensing and untensing which causes my thighs to twitch

Dry eye irritation
It doesn't sound much, does it, dry-eye irritation, but it's making my life an absolute misery. For two days now I haven't been able to read - my great pleasure in life - as the irritation is so bad compounded by the glare as well. Wearing dark glasses indoors is a sort of help but it's not enough
