Very cold with chest pain.
I'm in Australia, we are mid winter, sorry for all those struggling with the heat. Yesterday, I had chest pain and was extremely cold, I used my spray a couple of times and it settled. It just took me off guard, I wasn't exercising. I had my last stent end of February. It is unusual for me to

Heart attack I didn’t know about?
I’ve just come back from seeing my cardiologist who said I’m doing pretty well following my quadruple CABG 6 weeks ago but wants me to do some stress tests because I’ve used my gtn a couple of time since. The big thing is now we had time to chat as my surgery was pushed through really quickly following

Doing the Plank post CABG?
hi i am 6 months post quad CABG and in a good place fitness wise. i want to do some more core exercises so was thinking of the plank which I did pre-op. Question, when just lying on my front on a hard carpeted floor I can still feel pain in the centre of my chest which I understand is normal.

2 years ago, I had enjoyed a successful CABG x 3 & a New/ Rebuilt Aorta courtesy of an 11 1/2 hour op. It transpires that was the easy part! 2 years last night I was to suffer stroke, sepsis & a virus that chewed away at my upper lip. My throat became totally blocked, requiring a tracheotomy and I

Ropinirole as needed?
Hello everyone. I have taken low dose Ropinirole on occasion (.25mg) and alternate it with Gabapentin (300 mg) for medium RLS symptoms and to help with sleep. I do this for fear of Augmentation on Ropinirole and loss of efficacy with Gabapentin over time. Has anyone here have had experience with this

Looking for travel insurance advice
I was lucky enough to discover that I required a stent before i suffered any heart damage, my clinician says there are no concerns about ongoing health issues, and i am minimal risk - where can i find fair travel insurance that acknowledges this? i was quoted £800 to cover me for a 2 month stay in australia

I have tried every drug I know there is no cure little no treatment and the side effects from opiates are horrible. I really have no life anymore

Sertraline
I have been taking sertraline for several years. Since my restless legs got worse and I have been reading about it, I am cutting back. Does anyone else think that the antidepressant made the restless legs worse? And has anyone come off the antidepressants and coped? I’m coming off from slowly so far

Hi all. I had triple CABG almost 4 months ago and im fine, getting good exercise. I have no problems but feel bit bad for not eating as well as i could all the time. Most of time im good, but not perfect. My question is how quick could arteries clog up again if you dont get your butt in gear? Thanks
