My hcg bloods are extremely low (6.34)
Can anyone provide reassurance things will be OK if any ladies have had or know of anyone who has had very low beta hcg results? It was 6.34 today @ 3 weeks. But that's very bad. 😔they will retest Friday, feeling sad, o\s.

Short of breath.
Hi all, haven't posted for a long time but read posts most days. Had a HA and 1 stent fitted 3 years ago and on the usual tablets no problem. In the last 2 weeks when I am about to nod off I feel as if I'm going to stop breathing and wake up and it's very scary, and try to sleep with more pillows sitting

Cocodamol
Hi there,I had a heart attack (congested arteries) and a stent fitted last year. On the usual cocktail of meds. My back has started playing up and at night I find that if I take two OTC cocodamol it can help me sleep. Is this permitted? I know I can't take NSAIDs but not sure about cocodamol. Paracetamol

anxious and tearful
had stent fitted back in January . Was doing really well . Felt I was getting fitter and less paranoid about things going wrong . Sunday I had quite a bad ache in my right arm , that lasted most of the day . Strange as when I had my angina pre stent it was always the left arm ? Last night and early hours

sleeping position after mid LAD stent
This is probably a silly question, but should we be sleeping on our backs only after having a stent in our LAD? I prefer sleeping on my sides but read somewhere that side sleeping puts pressures on the heart and is not recommended.

Weird leg pain
Hi everyone, I'm hoping someone can shed some light on this weird symptom! For almost 10 years now I have had pain in my outer calf about two inches up from my ankle on both sides. It comes on with the slightest exertion but is not there all the time. The achy pain builds and builds until I feel like

Horizant
Hi everyone and Sue Johnson. I'm wondering if Horizant is the same as Pregabalin? I guess it is a stronger version of gabapentin. I have tried it and it seems to work pretty good for me.

Low platelets
Hello and thanks to contributors for the all the past useful information and support. Very much appreciated. My GP has now asked me to give Pramipexole a try as both Gabapentin and Pregabalin seem to have caused an unacceptable reduction in platelets. The negative correlation is fairly conclusive.

Next Steps
So in chatting with my GP he advised that the next step is for the cardio rehab nurse to discharge me to him. He said then they will see me in 12 months. Is this the norm after having STEMI and stent 7 weeks ago?

Aortic stenosis
Hi, I have heart disease and had a stent 2 years ago,I'm on a cocktail of medication.I had an echocardiogram recently that shows mild aortic stenosis and mild/ moderate aortic reguritation. This was a surprise to me as this has never been mentioned until now.Looking back at a CT Angiogram from 2019

chest pains
I had a stent in my LDA 4 years ago. Over the last 2 years I have had intermittent chest discomfort symptoms which tie up with unstable angina, although nitro spray doesn't help. 2 years ago had a myocardial perfusion scan which showed good blood flow to the heart. Still getting the discomfort, though

heart attack
I had a heart attack twelve months ago and had a 4.5 cm stent fitted to LAD. All test are clear but still get pain sometimes - consultant has told me that I have blockages in minor arteries that will cause angina pain but not serious. Is anyone else in this position? thanks Richard ❤️🩹

Methadone
Hello, 3 days ago I started methadone. Started with 2.5 mg on the first night. It didn’t help my rls completely, so the next night I took a whole pill, 5 mg. From an rls perspective, working great. I am not getting breakthrough rls, which is awesome! But I am not sleeping well. I have many short

no stent-tortuos artery
Hi all who replied. I did have angiogram, apparently the LAD is 65-70%, then another part 74%, BUT it is what they call a tortuous artery, really curved and twisted, looked like a country lane on the angio, with corners! So apparently difficult to stent and made the decision not to and treat with meds

Feeling emotional
Just wanted to get things off my chest! I had a heart attack out of the blue on 31st May. I have written a very long story about it in my bio. My hubby is working abroad. I care for our 3 teenage children and the oldest is 19. When I was back in the ward after my angioplasty and stent, I phoned my husband

Heart attack
When I add my heart attack, I also add 2 cardiac arrests while they was fitting a stent. Now I have been diagnosed with ischeamic heart disease. I was wondering if anyone knows how much damage cardiac arrests cause to your heart
