Acupuncture

I tried acupuncture and it felt good but it was not the silver bullet I was hoping for. Electrical stim, vitamins, massage, ice, heat, acupuncture and chiropractic adjustments have been my weapons of choice with no relief from any of it.

I’ve had ultrasound and acupuncture on my hip to treat the bursitis and he’s given my lower vertebrate a good crunch. Now feeling very sore but at least I know I’m on the mend now. Ice packs and ibuprofen for now.

I have previously worked with a physio who is trained in lots of alternative treatments like cupping, acupuncture, myofascial release and Chinese medicine. I contacted her when I got my diagnosis recently to see if she thought she could help and she suggested the visceral-pelvic mobilisation.

She did acupuncture and visceral-pelvic mobilisation on Tues. Since then my back and hip pain has been a lot worse. I got my period yesterday and today I'm in awful stomach and abdominal pain and I'm really swollen from the stomach down. My tummy is 4 inches bigger and I'm a small person.

The Bells I treated with acupuncture and two weeks in my face was back to normal. I was so happy until this damn siren stated in my ear. The ent said it could be due to Bells but he wasn't 100% on that. I had a cat scan and blood work all which were ok nothing serious.

Already in the last couple of years I found myself making diet alterations, having acupuncture and taking herbs. Nothing seemed to work or get rid of my horrible period pain, for which I cannot seem to get to the bottom of. A laparoscopy ruled out endo and any fibroids or nasties.

And to my surprise they are scheduling my frozen transfer for June.... eeeekkkk......didnt know it would happen this quickly..... looks as if it will be a natural fet.... so if anyone has any advice please let me know... im eating healthily and looking into acupuncture before and after transfer xx

Has anyone tried acupuncture or reflexology for IBS and did they help at all?

So after a failed round 1 I questioned what else I could do and came across a few articles on acupuncture. As a lot of you will know -on the long protocol you have a down reg injection on day 21 and then need to have a period and a scan before starting the daily injections.

I have read that physi therapy and acupuncture may be helpful. How soon would you try these other therapies please? Feeling a little overwhelmed and anxious about it all....

I started weekly acupuncture and theyve begun me on a regimen of Chinese herbs. Ive gotten massages. Ive done 8 sessions of physical therapy w an amazing PT who like me, believes this disease can be helped.

By the way, my mad couple of days were 3 hours spent on Monday grooming and washing my horse who I hadn’t seen for 2 weeks, walking the dog twice, acupuncture and 3 hours in the kitchen trying out new recipes for Sicilian food.

I've been doing all of the usual things that drive you crazy, obviously giving up all of the bad, tasty and fun food and drink, exercising more, meditation, yoga, acupuncture and I have been going a bit nuts with my healthy diet for the best part of two years.

Acupuncture, reiki, reflexology, massage, supplements, tweaking my diet. My tens machine sometimes helps and sometimes makes me nauseous. Am really low in mood too. Sorry for the moan, needed to ventilate x

Iv also been having acupuncture, not sure if it makes a difference but worth a shot! But on the other hand I can’t help a nagging doubt that it just won’t ever happen for us. Maybe that’s just a way of trying to protect myself - who knows.

I am going to try acupuncture so I am just wondering how many sessions would be recommended to work? And when should they be started? Don't really want to spend all my money on loads of sessions when this journey is going to be expensive enough xx

Have tried anything and everything you can think of, from vitamins, acupuncture, yoga, special lubricant, temp charting, cervical mucus charting, the lot. I have a bang on 30 day cycle with no premenstrual symptoms and never get any pain while on my period.

Edited to add: I also tried 3 acupuncture treatments. Maybe they helped but not feasible to go everyday. I tried CBD oil with no change. I was briefly on colestipol tablets but thing were worse on them so went back to cholestyramine powder.

Will Acupuncture helpful for treating adenomyosis ? Or any other Adenomyosis treatment optins for treating adenomyosis naturally without surgery ? thanks !

So probably it would have helped if only my eggs were healthy..After years of ttc actively and trying things aimed at fertility boosting, like: a sperm friendly lubricant, a supplement with Myo-Inositol, acupuncture, extra vitamin B6 and Zinc, continue tracking my BBT and using an OPK, drinking more
