I'm just here for a vent as well at any info or advice. I was diagnosed 2 weeks ago by an orthopaedic consultant so haven't had any further information or medical advice. My main symptoms are fatigue and back pain. I've had my issues for 4 years (I'm 39) and initially I suffered with awful stomach & abdominal pain, severe bloating, as well as the fatigue. The Dr's thought endo and so I had a lap 2 years ago. In the 3 months leading up to the lap, I was put on a pill continously and I stopped getting the stomach issues & my fatigue improved quite a bit. No endo was found in the surgery so I stopped the pill and muddled on with continued fatigue which never got any better. I then started to have terrible back and hip pain, which eventually lead to an orthopaedics referral, mri and the discovery of severe endo throughout my abdomen. I'm waiting to see a specialist but have an appointment to see the lap surgeon in 6 weeks.
I don't like waiting (who does) and like to try different avenues to health problems so I went to see a physio who i saw in the past. She did acupuncture and visceral-pelvic mobilisation on Tues. Since then my back and hip pain has been a lot worse. I got my period yesterday and today I'm in awful stomach and abdominal pain and I'm really swollen from the stomach down. My tummy is 4 inches bigger and I'm a small person. It's like I've just got all my old symptoms back. My period is also a lot heavier and darker than usual. With lots of 'bits' (TMI?! sorry!)
I'm wondering what the hell is happening inside me. Does anyone have any ideas?
Why don't I have heavy periods? I have endo.
