When to take time off work?
Hi I am due to start my IVF cycle towards the end of next week or the week after. Interesting read - what are the thoughts?
Resolving an allergy to iodine may be possible with an
acupuncture
technique called NAET. To find out if your allergy to iodine (or other substances, for that matter) can be resolved, check out the
acupuncture
site of an old friend of Health Alert, Dr. Devi Nambudripad, at www.naet.com.

Down Reg Bleeding?
I am doing
acupuncture
and drinking at least 2 litres of water a day so that could be helping. Just wondering what other ladies experiences was like if you didn't bleed? Did you need to down reg for longer? did it work in the end?

Has anyone tried acupuncture for Fibromyalgia?
My hubby has made me an appointment to have
acupuncture
tomorrow. I just wondered if any of you have tried it and if so had any benefit. It is quite expensive but it did work for my hubby when he was first sober, (another story for another forum).

Nerve Damage
I've tried everything from LOTS of different painkillers, physio, chiropractor,
acupuncture
, etc etc. The last injections did work for a couple of weeks, I had 2 in the base of my skull and 3 on either side of my spine, all directly into the nerves.

To massage or not to massage?
I'm also considering
acupuncture
. My joints are so sore, particularly my wrists, knuckles and feet/toe joints. I'm on week four of hydroxychloroquine and not a hint of improvement (I know it takes 6-12 weeks to notice anything I'm just really impatient lol).

Chi Gong, qigong mean the same - healthy exercises
The development of Chinese medicine, especially
acupuncture
, gave an understanding as to how Chi (energy) moves in the body, the cultivation and physical movement of chi became the field of chi gong. Practitioners discovered that there are 12 main channels running around the body.
