Ejection Fraction

Recently had an echocardiogram, the results of which showed an EF of 35%. My ECG was normal, my BP which I check several times a day is consistently within normal parameters and as a result of the echo the cardiac consultant now wants an MRI but wants my Primary Care Physician to start me on Beta blockers and Ace inhibitors even though I'm not due to see him until the end of December to discuss all the tests. This has all come out of the blue and naturally I'm anxious but refusing to go down the Doctor Google route. I'll do whatever the doctor orders but I'm wondering if lifestyle changes can boost EF?...I don't smoke, drink very little but have been sedentary ever since lockdown...this is all very scary to me. .TIA

I’ve often heard that life style changes are imperative and can and do help your overall health. More than likely will discuss Entresto. Search Entresto on the website. All the best.
