Buscopan and it's effectiveness
Have u had a colonoscopy to rule out the obvious! I find buscopan has little effect. Pain like that sounds like trapped gas. Perhaps check your diet. Good luck

Carboxy Methyl Cellulose / E466 / Cellulose gum. Comments?
I normally eat home cooked whole foods, and I don't worry about additives when I very rarely eat anything processed. However, after not eating any processed foods at all since June 2020, I recently decided to buy a pack of BFree Sweet Potato Wraps, which I used to enjoy. I had one a day for 4 days,

Nature-throid
Is anyone else still taking nature-throid despite it being recalled because of the lower potency? I still have some and my levels have changed from being fine to not so good. I thought it was down to the prochlorperazine I was taking but am now wondering whether its actually down to the nature-throid

Physical activity may reduce risk of poor COVID-19 outcomes.
A Kaiser Permanente study of nearly 50,000 people with COVID-19 suggested that regular physical activity provided strong protection from hospitalization, intensive care unit admission, and death. Why consider Ambroxol for PD?
A member of our community here suggested that I repost this answer to their question separately for all with PD to consider. The question is why should someone with PD consider taking Ambroxol, or more specifically what did it do for me and how much do I take? The 2nd question first. I followed the

OCC large
My blood work came back with notation of OCC large and the white blood cell count was up. Very worried. Also angry that as I saw ongolgist that day and she did not mention it. I saw it in my app. Thinking this means progression to CML or worse. Anyone have any idea what this means

Bed wetting what should I do next?
If he there isn’t a toilet near he sometimes has
accidents
. At home if he is too engrossed in what he is doing he still some times has
accidents
. I spoke to his doctor who just told me he’ll grow out of it. Just get used to doing lots of washing. I can’t keep doing this much laundry.

Discharge thoughts
Hello lovely people! Looking for a bit of advice. So there are a few rumblings of the potential discharge date for my husband being in May. We live in a house which is too small, has an extremely steep staircase with our bathroom upstairs. But a WC downstairs. I have had my nose to the wheel looking

Lack of communication
Hello , I have severe Ankylosing spondylitis for which I am on Adalimumab. I saw my Consultant two weeks ago we agree that I would stay on the Adalimumab and he would do a new prescription that day and send it to Healthcare at home. I only had one injection left which I took that day the 26th. As I

New here - 8 year old soiling
My 8 year old son started having daytime wetting
accidents
in about July time and then has been soiling since August. Just recently he has told me that he used to hold on to his poo, which I guess explains how this started.

Constipated with hard stool and mucus
I stopped having BMs naturally a couple of months ago and have added a lot of fiber to my diet and drink plenty of water, which I drink daily always. I've taken a lot of different things trying to move me without much help. I'm only passing small hard pieces of stool with a lot of mucus, both in stool

Pamidronate side effects
I had 2 infusions of pamidronate over 2 days in Aug 2019 for a stiff knee and Fibrous Dysplasia. I was told it would help strengthen my knee, the Fibrous Dysplasia was never so bad that a few ibuprofen wouldnt cure. After 3 months my hair began to thin, after 6 months my scalp became itchy and would

Brain Aneurysm Recovery
Hi everyone, I made a post on here about a month ago regarding my father who suffered a ruptured brain aneurysm alongside small strokes and seizures on the left side of his brain shortly after. A month ago, he was pretty much out of it and would barely even open his eyes. He has made great improvements

Feeling drunk after prometrium
Hi Team! i'm currently 6 weeks and 2 days pregnant. Because of my previous losses, I take lots of progesterone - 2 pessaries in the morning (200mg each) and 2 at night (200mg each). I also take Prometrium (100mg) during the middle of the day and find that I get a super tipsy/dizzy feeling about 1/2

IBS aged 84
I have had ibs for over 20 years, had all sorts of tests, 3 colonoscopies, the last one just before Covid started. The last 3 months have been so bad, I rarely have a day without diarrhoea and stomach pain. Coupled with this I have haemorrhoids, rheumatoid arthritis and had a stroke a couple of years

TREATMENT FOR PSEUDOMONAS.
Hi going on Meropenem again. This is the third time since September. I've had two X rays still showing a shadow on my left lung waiting for a Ct Scan. At the moment I feel like it's never ending. 😕😡 Holly

Subchorionic Hematoma
So I found out since my earlier post, that my bleeding is a subchorionic hematoma. So now I'm on as much bed rest as possible. How long do these things normally last? The bleeding has gone down so just a small spot light brown when I wipe. Doc said work is screwed as I shouldn't go in to the office

IBS-D help
I have just had blood tests and stool tests to have a check up and came back normal which has stopped me worrying. I suffer from IBS-D and have Alverine and loperamide from the doctor. Does anyone have any other good remedies to try and help? I know probiotics don’t work for everyone but just wondering
