Busereline shortage
Hello, Does anyone know where I can get Busereline? None of the pharmacies have it in stock and their suppliers don’t have it either. I will be starting stims in 11 days and we were hoping to use it alongside the trigger injection. Thanks Sam

Does anyone else suffer with hair pulling? I have been doing this to my eyelashes for over 40 years. I am on citalopram for anxiety 40mg for 15 years. I try so hard to stop. Even took up knitting to keep hands busy. Any ideas? Will they grow back? I try not to have eye contact with people incase they

Cortisol low,and I’m not well
My rheumie (who is wonderful, private, Suffolk) asked my surgery to do a 9am cortisol test as I have been on 3mg of Pred for many months. Last night I was up all night vomiting and diarrhoea and today I feel weird. The cortisol result was posted on my NHS app this morning - 98nmol (133-537. The GP who

is it common to be conscious at time you get head injury?
I was in a car accident in 2012 leading to me having serious head injury. I have never been able to remember the accident so I guessed I was unconscious through it. I remember driving along the motorway which is where the accident happened so I guessed I remembered most of the time I was conscious.

Great news!
Carefree person again at least as far as your bladder goes.I can't imagine going back to worrying about
accidents
and being embarrassed in public. For me it is a big win situation!

Failed back surgery
If you have had a failed back surgery, when was it determined? I had l5 s1 fusion, laminectomy and bilateral foraminotomy almost a year ago and am concerned about the amount of back and nerve pain I am still experiencing.

New to this Group and confused about different approaches and treatments.
I have just been prescribed Prucalopride for awful constipation problems.I would like to ask those who are on taking it if they have experienced any of the listed (scary!) side effects? Thank you.

Advice on Spasticity
Following a stroke my partner has severe very painful spasticity in his legs. Despite pain killers and antispasmodic drugs he is in terrible pain when moved ( and pretty well bed ridden as a result) I have managed to get him a referral to a special clinic in Orpington but the waiting list is so long

disaster in holiday
I am on holiday with my grandchildren at moment and I have had two episodes of
accidents
with severe diarrhoea with no warning and unable to get to a toilet. I am mortified and feeling unable to face the world. Why has this started to happen. I have no idea how to deal with this.

Pulsed Field Ablation
Hi, I am a fit 57 male and was diagnosed with paroxysmal AF while going for my weekly jog back in Nov 2022. I get weekly episodes so have booked a pulsed field ablation for 4 May 23 under general anaesthetic. Has anyone had pulse field ablation as I am nervous about having it done. Just wanting to know

A surprising week away
I thought I would post this experience as it may help others with the confidence to do more with this awful bowel condition. Most of my 2022 was spent living practically like a hermit. From about April onwards I became so despondent about this condition and convinced myself my life was basically over

Meds to slow motility
In my now full year of bowel problems (started with mainly diarrhoea, then changed to mixed, now seems to be more on the formed side, with the occasional explosion!), I have found that the only thing which gives me confidence to go out and do things is a Loperamide in the morning. It stops the flow

3 years later
I know it's 3 years later but I wanted to write this in case someone needed to see. This thread helped me so much when my dad was in the ICU on a ventilator. When they took my dad off of sedation he didn't wake up right away. He is a peritoneal dialysis patient and drugs leave his system much slower.

how long to plan for disimpaction?
My 5 year old boy has been having poo

since he was toilet trained at 3. Last year we were referred to the bladder and bowel service after a lot of persuading the health visitor. We have had 2 appointments with them.

Itchiness is fading away...
I have had PV for ten years and am a 66 year old male. Phlebotomies & aspirin worked well for that time. Aquagenic priurits (itchiness on contact with water) had become unbearable by June 2022. I went onto 500mg per day HU (Hydroxyurea). The itchiness started to decrease and now after 6 months has almost

Hello everybody... welcome to 2023! It is so good to see you here in the corner...the weather may have warmed up a tad, but the fire is still glowing and the cushions are here, ready for you all. I really hope that some of you have found some time to relax over the last few days, and have maybe had
