I'm writing to share with everyone my 6 month follow up on my botox injections into my bladder. I received my inìtial botox injections back in early December and here it is the early part of May and I still haven't had to get a second set of injections yet. I am more than pleased with my botox therapy on my bladder. Typically I can go 3 to 5 hours between emptying my bladder. When we're out and about I often managed to go about 5-6 hours without having to empty my bladder. I love it and would highly recommend everyone check in to using botox. If you have bladder incontinence issues talk to a Urologist that uses it and understands how MS works as well. I have had no negative side effects from the Botox treatment. Everyone is scared to use the both talks because of the poison at it's foundation. But I asked you why would they be using it for the past 20 years on different parts of your body like your brain for migraines, your face for wrinkles, your back for pain, and your bladder for incontinence. It has to be safe if they have used it so widely in the body without hearing about very severe negative side effects..Check into it. You won't be sorry. Try to imagine how carefree and confident you could feel without having to worry about messing your pants because of your bladder incontinence. Imagine not having to worry about the public embarrassment that you have lived with for sometimes year after you're. You can feel like a normal. Carefree person again at least as far as your bladder goes.I can't imagine going back to worrying about accidents and being embarrassed in public. For me it is a big win situation! For those of us with bladder in continents due to MS, forget the pad's, forget the pull up underwear, forget the catheters, and say hello to freedom and the end of embarrassment out in public! The best part is that Uncle Sam pays for the botox injections into your bladder if you've got medicare, medicaid, and even most insurance cover it. So what do you have to lose? Why put up Bladder incontinence a day longer if you don't have to? Fancy59.

I have been on a med for that, but you told me about the potential issues with that. Well I stuck with it until I retire which is at the end of the week! Found I have a neck issue, so that's next on the list but I do have a referral to a urologist so I can ask questions and see what's the best for me. I'm glad to hear how you are doing as botox is on the table for me as well.
Thank you for the post
