Busereline shortage

Hello,

Does anyone know where I can get Busereline? None of the pharmacies have it in stock and their suppliers don’t have it either. I will be starting stims in 11 days and we were hoping to use it alongside the trigger injection.

we’ve just had some from Fertility2U. In the past our clinic has poured us an exact amount rather than a vial because of shortages. Good luck x

Our clinic doesn’t have it we contacted Fertility2U and they don’t have it in stock. Hope your cycle goes well! X

I was told by my doctor last week that there is a shortage of buserline so they wouldn’t prescribe this next time for down reg

I was supposed to start down reg with Bruserelin on 7th Jan but couldn’t get hold of it anywhere. Literally spent days calling every pharmacy in London. Found some at Guys but they would only give it to patients registers at their clinic. In the end our doctor switched our medication to Prostap, which I found slightly better as it’s one injection that covers your whole cycle, instead of daily. Started stims yesterday and baseline scan showed that Prostap was working well. Maybe check with your clinic what your options are if you can’t get Bruserelin. Good luck x

We reached out to them yesterday and asked. Hopefully we get an alternative injection but it’s all nerve racking changing anything. hopefully it all goes well anyway!thank you! Best wishes to you! X

I was lucky to get ahold of buserline from my clinic, but I had heard there was shortages till August from my husband (also a pharmacist)
